Pub serving craft beers and real ales. We serve homecooked food with plenty of vegeterian and vegan options. Open everyday from 11:00 till 21:00. We show live sports and host music nights and concerts...
Having recently moved to the area, We went for lunch yesterday with friends and were all very impressed with the food, as my hubby and I are vegetarians we chose the Beet Burgers, our friends, beef burgers. Our choice was fantastic, as was theirs! enormous portions, homemade coleslaw, onion rings, fries and salad! such brilliant value for money, tasty scrumptious food, lovely friendly staff , very welcoming, we will definitley be back, excellent value for money.

One of the most powerful Carolingian and Benedictine abbeys of medieval France owes its origins to the relic of Sainte-Croix. Built and reworked from the 8th to the 15th century, it houses the “Concile de la Paix de Dieu” (religious council) in 989. Its famous octagonal tower, known as the “tour Charlemagne”, its outstanding Gothic sculptures ans its treasures make it one of the most important sites in Poitou’s Heritage.
