Craft & Canvas is the premiere Charleston location where adults and youngsters explore their creative side. No talent is required, we assist and encourage all ability levels. We offer more than just painting. Crafts include ceramics, quilling, crochet, wood burning, glass etching, glass painting and more! There is something for everyone. Each person in the group can work on something different.

Colin has a BSc (Hons) in Photo Science from the University of Westminster in London. He belongs to the PPA, NANPA, and is a Licentiate of RPS. He was on the Board of the Charlotte Camera Club, a PSA affiliate, and was an instructor with the Light Factory in Charlotte and with Nikonians, For almost two decades, he has worked as a freelance photographer, leading workshops, speaking at camera clubs and judging photo competitions. He's helped hundreds of photographers improve their photography.

I have been fish printing for over a year, and painting since I was a young adult. Fish printing is an 1800s Japanese tradition used to record and commemorate a fisherman’s catch while still being able to utilize the fish for its meat afterward. We capture an image of their size, shape, surface texture, and delicate scale patterns on fabric with black acrylic paint. You can join in on painting the fish, and learn a great technique to preserve them while still being to utilize them.
