What to do and see in Charleston, South Carolina (SC): The Best Classes & Workshops

June 27, 2021 Brandee Mangan

Historic Charleston is bursting with Southern charm and hospitality. The city feels a bit like it’s suspended in time, thanks to its antebellum architecture and surrounding plantation landscapes. Take in incredible views of the Battery and the French Quarter as you stroll the Waterfront Park, then become inspired by the cultivated beauty of the gardens at Middleton Place. At night, try a ghost tour for an introduction to the spooky side of the city.

Wine Blending by Kessler

Taste, learn, create, and blend a custom wine in an intimate class led by our sommelier in the Bohemian Blending Room. This educational experience includes an introduction and history of winemaking, blending session, customized label creation and a bottle of your personal blend. Reservations are based upon availability.

If wine was not included in the event our personal sommelier, Jessa’s, unintentional yet hilariously sarcastic and perfectly timed commentary would easily warrant a 4.5 star review unto itself! We learned a lot about the pre-blended wines, got to do plenty of tasting, and then were let lose to make a few personally ‘perfect’ blends of our own. We met amazing people, and the night moved into the lounge with our new friends for further ‘research.’ We cannot thank Jessa, and her team, for making one of the most memorable experiences of our trip! It truly was an incredible night!
