Char Dham Yatra is a tour of the four Hindu shrines namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These shrines are located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva in India which is considered to be the main places of worship of Lord Shiva. The Char Dhams of India are Badrinath, Rameshwaram, Jagannath Puri and Dwarka which were founded by Adi Shankracharya. All Hindus aspire to go to these four shrines once in their lifetime. We first experienced the positive vibes at Buddhas enlightenment spot "Bodhgaya", spent time understanding buddhist belifs. We proceeded then to the Imposing hills of Rajgir, king Ajatshatru's cave was a wonder located hilltop. finally the Nalanda ruins told the wisdom of the erstwhile students of the buddhism round the globe. we traversed through the rustic roads and countryside

8. Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Himalayan Trek and Camping
People have fallen unconscious due to the heady scent of flowers, we do not know how much of that is true however the valley of flowers has a beauty which is unparalleled, and colors are straight out of a fantasy. Brief History: In 1931, Frank S. Smythe, Eric Shipton and R.L. Holdsworth, all British mountaineers, lost their way while returning from a successful expedition to Mt.Kamet and happened upon the valley, which was full of flowers. They were attracted to the beauty of the area and named it the "Valley of Flowers. The valley is also home to some rare and endangered animal species like Asiatic black deer, snow leopard, musk deer, red fox, brown bear and blue sheep. The park stretches over an expanse of 87.50 km2 and it is about 8 km long, 2 km wide and is filled with floral pastures, running streams and beautiful backdrop of the mountains.

It was a late decision to go for a day hike, but we are so glad we did. The trek was very comfortable, splendid views of the lush green hills, we were pleasantly greeted by a dear at the summit. Manish are amazing guide from Yeti outdoors surprised us with a maggie party at the top. The kids loved it. We will surely use their services again.
