Stroll among the shady trees, admire the diversity of plants and animals, travel to the stars, enjoy our heritage. Visit ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo and experience nature right in the city centre.
Me and my wife had wanted to go to the zoo in Amsterdam for the last 5 years but the weather has never been good enough , well this time last Tuesday when we got up the sun was shining , so we got up and went , The Zoo was really really good , the animal enclosures were large with plenty of toys and amusements for the animals , they were clean and the food laying around was fresh , loads to see and do and plenty of cafes to stop and have a warm drink . Overall a great place to go and can't wait to go back next year .

The eastern end, near the Golden Bend, is not for raucous thrill seekers. It's quite placid, though move back, around the Rembrandt Square, and it's lively. It is centrally located--perhaps 15 minute stroll to museum square and 10 minutes to Dam Square. The city is extremely walkable--compact and flat.

Lovely area to have a stroll around, even in the rain! Everybody ignores it in the city. Walked there alone at night and felt safe

The most delightful stroll along this lovely canal bank - an array of little restaurants and cafes create the most wonderful atmosphere. Just watch out you don't step into the cycle lane!!

Very beautiful botanical garden. We really enjoyed it, you have different rooms with different species and temperatures, such as cactuses, tropical plants, etc...

More than 4000 m2 of fun for children between 1 and 11 years old Located in a former traffic tunnel in the center of Amsterdam. Let your children play while You enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
We visited TunFun in the middle of Feb. Situated underneath a tram line & intersection. Excellent play area for children. Large soft play jungle gyms for different ages. Cafe serves food & drinks, lovely and warm in there. Will definitely visit again. Used the tram to Waterlooplein, unsure if any car parking is nearby.
