One of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan offers endless opportunities for chic shopping. Hit the artsy neighborhood of Brera for leather goods and Via Monte Napoleone for exclusive, expensive boutiques. The enchanting mosaics and glass vaults of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II make shoppers feel like they’re wandering inside a painting. Take break from your spree to gape at the iconic Duomo, then grab tickets to a performance at La Scala. Post-opera, the Navigli district pulses with late-night activity.

Forget about the over-priced, mass-produced handbags and leather goods from the "luxury brand" shops in town. If you really want to buy yourself something classy or bring home fine and elegant gifts of quality you've got to come here. I got a beautiful, hand-made Italian leather back pack, a coin purse, and a bunch of accesories for a fraction of the price of those "fashion" shops. These items have gotten me so many compliments back home! Moreover, I got gorgeous-looking maps, hand-bound notebooks, and leather folders for friends and family that were surely impressed and pleased. This is top quality, local craftmamship; the really classy stuff that discerning milanese buy, not the pretencious -and often vulgar- items you see elsewhere. The very knowledgeable staff will help you pick anything and the owner, a fourth-generation printer, will oversee your transaction. This is one of the oldest printers in Milano. This was such a traditional business experience! So glad to support local businesses like this one! Even just entering and browsing in this antique shop will guarantee you an experience.
