Rome wasn't built in a day--and you'll need much more than a day to take in this timeless city. The city is a real-life collage of piazzas, open-air markets, and astonishing historic sites. Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, contemplate the Colosseum and the Pantheon, and sample a perfect espresso or gelato before spending an afternoon shopping at the Campo de’Fiori or Via Veneto. Enjoy some of the most memorable meals of your life here, too, from fresh pasta to succulent fried artichokes or a tender oxtail stew.

MAC Maja Arte Contemporanea is located near Piazza Farnese and Campo dei Fiori. It was founded by Daina Maja Titonel who cares for the exhibition program, focusing mainly on paintings, as well as sculpture and photography, dealing with both the latest generation artists and Italian masters. Since 2006 she has organized numerous personal shows in a private space by appointments in parallel with a long training experience in the Campo dei Fiori gallery specializing in Italian art on horseback between the eighth and early twentieth centuries. The constant contact with works by these masters has refined her critical eye over the years, now seeking the same quality in contemporary artistic expressions.

So glad we found this place! Lamented the lack of space in our luggage after seeing the larger pieces there, but stocked up on a few of the smaller images in a variety of sizes and styles. Different to the usual touristy souvenirs and a far better way to bring home something to remember our visit. I always look for art when I travel and this place definitely didn’t disappoint!

The ALEFBET art gallery is the only art gallery of the world totally dedicated to the 22 letters of the hebrew alphabet. Each letter has a name, a sound, a numerical value, and one or more mystical meanings. The hebrew letters are the door to the Kabalah. Al the exhibits in the gallery are works made by the italian jewish artist Gabriele Levy. Gabriele Levy is trying to define a new paradigm in art: he started from 3D art and followed to 4D art, then the work developed to hidden art and the modular art, and he is working now on photomosaics and glowing art. You are invited to the gallery and listen from the the artist showing you the objects defining the new art paradigm. You will certainly love to see and to touch the works!
