Very beautiful garden area/pathway to see. There are goats and you can feed them for $1.00! Cute and quaint with a nice selection of produce to buy at a reasonable price.

Full service Cheese Shop and specialty grocery. Grilled Cheese sandwiches, beer, cider, and root beer on tap. Experience the living history of this small Oregon cheese factory.
If ever near Medford and you love cheese. It’s a must to stop to get their award winning rogue creamery blue cheese. They have a great selection of cheeses. Cute store inside with some local goods. Must try their grilled cheese sandwiches- it’s so good. We tried both and they were great. We already ran out of their cheese- will need to figure how to get some ship to Vegas.

Crater Rock Museum houses the finest displays of rocks, minerals and gems on the West Coast. Exhibits include a collection of world-class minerals, collection of petrified woods, fossils, Native American artifacts, and much more! The museum gift shop is filled with the works of local artists from the Roxy Ann Gem & Mineral Society as well as rocks and mineral specimens for sale from around the world. The museum started out as a humble "shack" where locals could visit and share "rock hounding" stories. It's grown a lot since then. The original 5,400 square foot museum is now more than 12,000 square feet, with community meeting rooms, a larger gift shop, workshop, and exhibit areas. We now have a rock sluice in our rock-yard for kids (and grown-up kids) to use! The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Call for admission fees. The second Saturday of the month is Kids Day. Guided tours are available by appointment.
My grandson (almost six years old) was visiting with his Dad from the Seattle area so I took him to this wonderful museum. Chance was so engaged and just excited about everything. My husband and I had visited several months ago and were also impressed with how much there was to see. The displays are set up well and I was glad to take Chance somewhere to learn things. He bought a couple of rocks for himself and carried them around with him the whole weekend. This is a must see place this summer.

Any place with the words "Handmade Chocolates" always peeks my interest. Such a sweet little gem, way off the beaten path in Central Point Oregon. I was first introduced to their chocolates by my brother who has a nose for "fine and interesting chocolates". On my first and not my last visit, they did not disappoint. Bigger question.... what to buy besides "Everything". Their Lavender Caramels are incredible. As is everything, really. Beautifully displayed and also many just gorgeously created. Almost too pretty to eat, but great for gifts. Plus they have very whimsical individual confections and mini boxes of cute treats. Loved the Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies too. A trip North from San Francisco or on the way home, always means a side trip to Lillie Belle.
