TC Time Walk will serve as a precursory review of what the city has to offer and we invite you to join our city walk! Taichung is both a historic marvel and one of the most important foodie mecca in the world – As the birthplace of the worldwide sensation Pearl Milk tea. The old city center of Taichung is a city with a split personality, designed by the Japanese in the 19th Century to be the little Kyoto outside of Japan. It now echoes the youthful metropolis of Westernization. Route A & B are both FREE (No Charge but tips are welcome). Please refer to our pamphlet/Facebook page for more information. How to join us : Fill out the Tour Reservation Form (link available on TC Time Walk Facebook Page) and you will receive a confirmation response. *Please reserve your tour 24 hour in advance so we can better prepare for your arrival!

This visit happened in May 2019. Great place to visit to try out the wide variety food! We went on 2 occasions as certain stores/certain parts of the market were closed. There is an alley further down the to the centre of the market which sold a variety of food and drinks. Great for sharing and tasting as one doesn't have to go to multiple stores to tey the items

The holiday season is the best time to go at night because the lights are gorgeous on the renovated river. Enjoy the colors, the flower lights, the tree, the changing-color waterfall--all a lovely time in the central area of Taichung.

Just outside the Miyahara Ice Cream and Departmental store, you can relax on the banks of this waterway. There are benches around and enough greenery. The water flowing in the stream gives a soothing atmosphere.
