The Marian Shrine of Marija Bistrica is a beautiful and serene place, a true testament to the enduring faith of Croatian people. We especially enjoyed the outdoor mass held in the outdoor church of the martyr Alojzije Stepinac (located just below the Basilica), beneath the gentle hills where the Path of the Cross lies.

The manor itself and the surrounding flower garden are beautuful. But the lake behind them surrounded by weeping willow trees, in which you can see large specimens of carp fish is a real place of peace and tranquility.

This 19-century church replaced an original one from the 13th century and includes many works of Ivan Mestrovic, Croatia's most famous sculptor.
Seen as a symbol of the city of Zagreb, St Mark's Church is situated in the upper part of the city. The colourful roof displays a couple of coats of arms.

This is the most famous and most visited shrine of the Mother of God in Croatia. Beautiful interior, as well as the exterior of the church, especially that of the entrance to the church. Be sure to visit if you find yourself in this sanctuary.
