The Cayman Islands are made up of three islands: Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. The largest, Grand Cayman has a cosmopolitan vibe, gourmet restaurants, world-class diving and the famous Seven Mile Beach. Cayman Brac is a nature lover's heaven of stunning diving and breathtaking walks along the rocky bluff. The smallest island, Little Cayman is home to just 150 people. Visitors enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and diving, especially Bloody Bay Wall, considered one of the world's best wall dives.

Was such a wonderful experience from start to finish...Thank you to Nikki and Elisha (sorry if name spelt wrong!) we had such a great time with you and your lovely horses! I loved Geronimo and swimming in the sea was magical! As a horse owner I loved your care and welfare for your horses and really appreciated the small personable group. Thank you x

One of the most unique ways to experience Grand Cayman! Trek along the edge of the Caribbean Sea atop one of our magnificent beauties! Enjoy a lazy walk as the surf rolls in and out at the feet of your horse. For the more adventurous, feel the wind in your hair as you canter along the white sand beach. Try something completely out of the ordinary with the swim ride - hold on tight as your horse is steered into the cool and refreshing waters of the Caribbean for a wonderful swim. The true romantics can see the softer side of Cayman with the moonlit ride during the full moon. Guided only by the natural instincts of your horse, enjoy the peaceful nirvana of paradise where the modern world is far and away!Whatever your choice, Spirit of the West delivers premium service with true Caymanian hospitality. Each ride is an experience of a lifetime and every rider feels like they have done something they will never forget!
We’ve gone horseback riding on multiple occasions in various locations around the world but this ride was hands down my favorite ever! And it is my favorite experience while visiting Grand Cayman Island! We did the swim ride with Jordan and trotted along the coast and inland with Loafer; both were inviting, helpful and friendly guides. I was expecting to ride the horses through horse-knee-deep water but was fascinated when the saddles were removed and we rode into deep water where the horses swam (yes swam) with us balancing on their backs. I highly recommend this experience!

Established in 1996,Pampered Ponies is located on a beautiful beachfront property where we have 13 professionally trained big and beautiful horses. We are always happy to have you join us on various types of rides for maximum enjoyment of your visit to the Beautiful Island of Grand Cayman.
Rode horses on the beach, into the surf and then they swam. A fun couple hours on a horse after a week of diving. There were 4 of us and we were accompanied by 3 hands from Pampered Ponies. If riding horses on the beach and experiencing bareback riding a swimming horse is on your list of to do’s plan on doing this!
