The Visitor Information Center is staffed by helpful and friendly people. In particular, the Center is the starting point for the fascinating Martin McCrossan Walking Tour of the Walled City, a history-oriented tour that I highly recommend.

Immerse yourself in the extraordinary world of Seamus Heaney, and explore through his words and imagination the people and place that so inspired him. Visit the award-winning exhibition now.
An excellent introduction to the life and work of Seamus Heaney. Really interesting exhibition, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great local refreshments available in the coffee shop. All social distancing measures in place including one way system and lots of sanitiser but does not take away from the experience at all.

Situated in Lisburn Square, close to car parks, the city centre, and restaurants this Visitor Information Centre fulfils it's role admirably. It's just across the way from the local Bus Centre. Staff were friendly and helpful; unlike many centres/shops, the gentleman behind the PayPoint "got up" and showed me the leaflet that I had enquired about (instead of "just pointing"!). Well stocked with free booklets and leaflets on interesting local areas to visit and attractions throughout N. Ireland. A free Lisburn (local city) Map was also available. Travel type books and Irish Craft items were also on sale - at reasonable prices. The entrance is just "off the street" - flat, and suitable for wheelchair users. (The new 52-bedroom, £4m Haslem Hotel, is currently under construction - beside the Visitors Centre - and is planned to open later this year (2020). It is expected to be 4*).

Glenarm Visitor Centre provides Local & National Literature, Accommodation Booking, Ancestry Tracing, and Local Arts & Crafts for sale, free Wi-Fi & car and coach parking with fully accessible washrooms. Bespoke packages are available on request for full or half day experiences to suit all budgets and time scales. We are champion of the beautiful Village of Glenarm and we look forward to welcoming you to our Village & showing you what the first of the nine Glens of Antrim has to offer. The Visitor Centre is community run and home of Glenarm Tourism & Glenarm Walkers, we have been operating for over ten years. In June 2015 our parent company Glenarm Building preservation Trust refurbished the Old Seaview School at a prominent location along the Causeway Coastal Route on the entrance to Glenarm Village. We shares the building with The Steensons designer jewellers, an Economusee, where visitors have the opportunity to view and interact with silversmiths at work.
