Tried to see the chapel on our last visit four years ago but an exhibition seemed to be taking place so it wasn't possible. So glad I came back. Worth visiting for the chapel alone, very atmospheric 12th Century building and the Rose Window (no glass) is quite awesome. If, like me, you are into history and archeology (or even if you're not!), you will really enjoy this museum which traces civilisation from Neanderthal through to modern times with artefacts to illustrate. Most of the exhibits are labelled in English as well as Castilian Spanish and Catalan, which is not also so. Only spent a couple of hours here but could have spent much longer!

Cau Ferrat 's Museum is the workshop that the painter Santiago Rusinol built in Sitges by the sea in 1893 to house its paintings, iron, ceramics, furniture and antique glass. The museum preserves intact the space and works of art that the modernist painter collected. His visit is an invitation to immerse ourselves in the spirit of Modernism and his idea of the creation of total art. On their walls they upload works by their fellow generations such as Ramon Casas, Ramon Pichot, Ignacio Zuloaga or Dario de Regoyos, and young emerging artists from that period such as Pablo Picasso, Manolo Hugue and Isidre Nonell.

Housed in a historic seaside residence, here is a beautiful, varied and eclectic collection of paintings, ceramics, and lots and lots of historical ironwork on several floors. The space itself is super interesting!

The first Castle in Tarragona, Catalonia by 11th Century. Very interesting historical medieval castle. Appropriate by the whole family. Wholesome panoramic view of the Ebro River( Río Ebro). Affordable entrance fee and convenient souvenir store.

Work began in 1896 and it opened in 1901 this cemetery is full of the finest examples of most significant Catalan funeral art and hosts some of Spain’s most important funeral sculptures, it is home for the most magnificent monuments from simple tombstones to large pantheons, one of which was inspired by Gaudi Religious or not this place is a must see if you are visiting Lloret, a very short walk from town, and a time to get away from the beach/holiday makers to see some real masterpieces Superb !!!
