Fantastic experience and such friendly and accommodating staff! My daughter had received a gift card for her birthday and now that the store had reopened, we wanted to venture in and check it out. My daughter loved the headsets and the job game, she was a chef and it was hilarious! I tried the pods myself, the whale watching experience was brilliant! Technology truly is amazing, I couldn’t believe how realistic it was almost as if you could reach out and touch it! I was thrilled to see how meticulous staff were about cleaning the headsets, machines and the access to hand sanitiser made the whole experience feel safe yet fun! We will definitely be going back, next time I might try the headsets as well or even the racing game.

Castleford Forum Museum invites visitors to: •follow the history of Castleford from the Bronze Age to the modern day. •discover why the Castleford area was a great and important meeting place for Bronze Age people. •view a unique and special Iron Age chariot. See objects from Castleford's time as an important Roman town. Not forgetting marbles, rugby, mining and pottery! This new museum space also features four very special changing displays with content created in partnership with local groups and people. One of the opening displays will be about how rugby plays an important role in people's lives. There is also a display in the local studies area of the refurbished building celebrating Henry Moore and his connections with Castleford. The Forum also provides a new home for the bronze sculpture 'Working Model for Draped Reclining Figure' (1976-79) by Moore, which had been displayed outside Castleford Civic Centre for over 30 years.

I live local but only found out about this Theatre on trip advisor, We booked to see Singing in the Rain as I love musicals and thought we would give it a chance but not expecting much. I booked and paid for the tickets online which was easy and printed them at home. I received a text a couple of days before giving us some very useful information about parking and bar and show times. We found the Theatre with no problem and were impressed with the venue and facilities, they even sold ice cream in tubs in the interval and you could also get a drink from the bar. The show itself was very good, funny, well acted and my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely return and looking to book to see Hairspray in April.

The kids absolutely loved the party here, staff couldn’t be more helpful and the food portions were very generous! When the party started adults got some ‘me-time’, we disappeared for a coffee for just under an hour until the children were back out to eat. It was the first party I’d been to where this was acceptable/normal for children as young as 7! Even after the party ended our host spent more time with the children who wanted to use their ‘mission reward vouchers’ in The Raid. Overall the party was great value for money in comparison to other venues/activities and the mission reward vouchers are an added bonus.

I’ve been coming here with my daughter since she was a baby. She loves to run and play and i love a bit of peace with a coffee. Its great that they let adults in the play frames too as it meant i could go in with my daughter and help her up any tricky bits, when she was smaller anyway, she doesn’t really need me now. Food is good for a quick snack or an easy meal but we do tend to go eat in a restaurant after rather than eating fast food here. Staff are all super and normally cant do enough for you. My daughter and her cousin got a teddy from the bear workshop and the lady was brilliant doing a little ceremony when they were making the bears. Regrettably i didn’t get her name but she was fantastic with the kids. Covid restrictions and additional cleaning are as good as they can do really but i try to make my daughter sanitise her hands every time she comes out to be sure. We normally booked two consecutive slots and can see the staff working really hard to get it all cleaned up and ready to go again in the half an hour cleaning time.
