Joe and Carol are very discerning when choosing the acts they present. Only top magical entertainers are engaged to do their acts. I've seen some very awesome entertainers at Theatre of Dreams, I couldn't list them all but a few of the magicians I've been lucky to see there are Shawn Farquhar - 2 time "Grand Prix World Champion of Magic", John Carney - World-renowned Comedian, Actor, and Sleight of Hand Virtuoso, Geoff Williams - Mind-blowing sleight-of-hand, Good clean Family Fun, all-round wacky comedy guy, and the Wonderful Magic of Joe and Carol. This place is a BLAST!

I had my first ever zip lining experience here and it was a blast. Our tour guides, Jake and Caroline, were absolutely terrific. They were super encouraging, had great personalities, and provided such an incredible overall experience. There were some pretty sweet views of Castle Rock’s beauty, as well! If you get the opportunity to do this tour, I highly recommend it!

BURLY Brewing Company

We are a brewery and taproom. We have 24 taps and 5,100 square feet. All of our beer is made here. We focus on traditional styles and tasteful deviations. We have indoor and outdoor seating. Our taproom is spacious and is done in beautiful hardwoods with Edison bulb fixtures throughout. BURLY Brewing Company makes great beer and has a wonderful environment in which to enjoy our beer.

In recent years, Castle Rock has exploded with local brewing options. Sadly, many of been mediocre at best. Burly Brewing is a total exception. Excellent options across the board from the lighter, summer options to the dark porters. Located off the beaten path in an industrial park, this one is worth finding on a weekend, especially after a motorcycle ride. Even better when On The Hook, a fish & chip food truck company from Wyoming, is on site. Plenty of indoor seating, a small outdoor patio out front and also an event room. But the beers are stellar!

We took out of town friends there today after lunch for the best darn ice cream in Castle Rock. Before we could even make it to the back of the shop for the ice cream, they were facinated by the variety of vintage candy and the selection of homemade candy in the case. Needless to say, we all came away with a nice variety of sweet treats in addition to a scoop of their delicious ice cream. BTW, The ice cream is $1 a scoop. Love this little shop!
