This was a great experience for our boys during the October Break. Andrew was a fantastic instructor, so skilled and knowledgable with plenty patience and humour! Was an excellent introduction to clay pigeon shooting on 4 stands. Highly recommend.

I came to Lochhill for my first ride after having my daughter so was unfit and a little anxious. Helen was great at putting me at ease and Molly was a lovely horse to ride, leaving me excited about getting back into riding, pushed in a positive way and can't wait to go back.

This is a lovely out of the way walk, round the most beautiful reserve. Well tended , a very good compact Visitor Centre. A walk to the viaduct along the disused Railway and return to the centre , amid sheep and other wildlife is pleasant with more arduous walks available.

Barstobrick Riding centre

Reviewed By MAGGIESWScotland - Dumfries and Galloway, United Kingdom

Barstobrick near Ringford S W Scotland is a riding centre set out in the countryside. The coffee shop is worth a visit it is open area pleasing to the eye with a very clean appearance. The prices are very reasonable and serves a carrot cake to die for. You can go trekking or walking nice peaceful scenery, a good sized car park although the road is a bit bumpy which I am sure could easily be rectified. You might be lucky to see riding events taking place during your visit as it looks out on one side to an indoor arena. If your in the kbt area well worth a visit
