Our English speaking driver will start the tour directly by your accommodation or cruise ship. We will take you all day across the magnificent Tuscan countryside exploring the villages of Volterra know for its artisan shops, architecture and ancient ruins from the Etruscan and Roman Age, as well as buildings from the Middle ages and Renaissance. Volterra is definitely one of a kind and a must for visitors. Later on we will take you to a local family owned winery in the Tuscan countryside where you will have a visit of the estate, cellars and a wine tasting paired with local snacks. All this surrounded by the Tuscan scenery. After the wine tasting we will drive to another village named Bolgheri. Bolgheri is one of the smallest villages you will ever see, but at the same time one of the most amazing and charming ones. Bolgheri is known for its wine and restaurants as well as artisan shops. Follow our avenue of cypresses and oleanders and we will guide you to discover our family, our territory and the Bolgheri Doc. We will start with a walk among the rows of vineyards and olive trees with organic cultivation and then go down to the cellar dedicated to the vinification and refinement of our wines. We will end the visit with a tasting of four of the wines produced which will be accompanied by our own bread and oil; the tasting will be with a panoramic view of the vineyards and hills dominated by the Castiglioncello di Bolgheri castle.
