A very friendly Berber village overlooked by the high atlas mountains. taroudant, 84 km from agadir, explores the 16th century capital of Saadian Empire. After a quick visit to Taroudant's small traditional souk and a short climb to the fortified ramparts, we will drive to the Oasis and the Kasbah of Tiout, where a very tasty lunch is waiting you in berber house . After lunch break, it will be the right time to stroll through the palm trees on a donkey ride and around the Kasbah where the movie of Ali Baba and 40 thieves was filmed in the 50s. The return to the hotel is scheduled around 5o'clock.

Lovely driver/tour guide. Picked up on time. However, there was no ‘paradise valley’. On the way to the valley, we stopped at a garden. A random lady, without any introduction, took us for a walk in this garden and showed us different plants and told us their names and their benefits. She then took us to the oil shop and indirectly pressured to buy tiny argan oil tubs for €30. It was the same argan/moroccon oil on Amazon for €5. But she said its natural etc. and would not stop insisting. I had to be firm with her and got out of there. Dont be fooled by them. They will be extremely nice to you and make you tea and put lots of creams and lotions on you and then charge you extortionate prices for tiny jars. We then got back in the car and made our way into the mountains towards the valley. After a 25 minute downhill walk, we arrived at this valley and there was no water. There was no lake. It was nothing like in the pictures. I was the first one to get here as our guide picked us up at 8am. Many others arrived later as they get picked up at 9am. Soon we were followed by crowds of people who also arrived and had a WTF moment. They were shocked to see that there was only a few bunch of rocks here and nothing else. AND THEN afterwards the tour guides started to say ‘oh, Morocco got no rain in the winter so they are going through a dry spell’. They could have said this before I bought the tickets or not advertise with pictures taken from last year or before. Morocco may or may not get rain in December 2020. Until then, this place is nothing like the pictures. There was one small puddle of muddy/dirty water. We went further where the guide said we could see another valley/lake. Hiked for another 30 minutes, mostly uphill and then downhill. Arrived at another tiny lake with dirty water. Did not even bother posing for pictures. Awful. Avoid. For the company arranging these visits, be honest with your pictures or you are committing fraud. And also, the oil garden should not be part of a trip. I did not want a random lady selling me oil for €30 at 8:30 in the morning.

Agadir journey Tours. sets the standard in custom-designed private tours. We are widely recognized as an industry-leader for our creativity, our values, and our pioneering approach to bespoke travel. We were, after all, one of the very first to offer only private custom-designed travel. We choose to limit what we offer so that when we say: “we are one step ahead,” everyone knows we mean it. Clients come to us for our deep knowledge, our vast network of connections, our honest opinions More than 20 years after we were founded on a drafting table in Agadir City, we remain at the forefront of the continual re-imagining of travel from a set of standardized commodities to an experience-based story (your story) that, at its best, can be, life changing. We listen to your needs because we understand your trip is different than anyone else’s. With us (and our famous Rolodex)

The city of Agadir is the starting point for all excursions and hikes throughout southern Morocco. This tour of the city, not so expensive, gives you an idea about our professional service. you can test us by this little city tour. Departure at 9:00 for the discovery of the modern city of Agadir. We start with the seaside. Then we go to the fishing port and we go up to the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella (Agadir from above). You enjoy a panoramic view to better admire the great Agadir. When we return to the city, we visit the residential district named Cité Suisse to discover the largest mosque in the city. Subsequently, we go to the Berber Souk. It is a vast market with 13 access and about 4000 places for vegetable merchants, fruits, crafts, clothes, butchers etc ... End of excursion at noon.

Adi collected us from our hotel in Agadir for a tour of the historic market town of Taroudant known as 'Little Marrakesh.' Whilst Adi does not speak fluent English he makes up for this elsewhere with his friendly courteous and reliable service. Adi went out of his way to show us goats climbing the Argan trees, and personally showed us around Taroudant to places we had expressed an interest in, plus the souk. Would highly recommend him or his family run tour company in the future.

We joined another couple for our adventure from Casablanca to Fez. We were one of the first off the cruise ship and alas, no driver. The agent standing by the Viator sign called and our driver said he would be there by 10:00. NO He was to be there at 7:00. You must leave immediately to get to Fez and back so as not to miss the ship. We were then told to take a taxi to the gate to save time. We did and our husbands went to each car to see it it was the driver. We made phone calls and the taxi took us to another gate. NO DRIVER. We saw no sign with our name and we searched to find him for at least an hour. Twice our husbands walked up and down trying to find anyone that was a representative of Viator. NO ONE. We finally gave up and the taxi took us to Rabat. It was a most unfortunate and disappointing experience. It is now compounded by Viator refusing to refund our money. If Viator would like the name of the person who booked the tour and the reference number, I can provide that. The person who booked the tour has had no success in obtaining a refund and says that they will not even accept her phone calls now. Shame on them. How could they pay a driver who didn't show up at the appropriate place or time or take us to Fez? They now have a few hundred dollars to line their pockets with. Not recommended at all.

With three extra days in Namibia, I decided to include a quick trip to Etosha. I struggled to find a company that was still operational, and met my needs. Then I chatted with Megan, representative with Across Africa. I quickly knew she was actually interested in helping. Her sincerity, honesty, humanity and dedication were recognized immediately, and I knew that I didn’t need to search further. She set up my trip with no hidden BS, made an effort to meet all my needs, and did all of it promptly, professionally, and graciously. My trip turned out perfectly down to the last detail. I credit Megan and my guide Steve for making my quick visit to Etosha unforgettable. Because of them I will use Across Africa in the future and suggest to others that they do the same!

Worst service and agency EVER !! I booked a one day trip to Essaouira with this agency 14 days ago, they confirmed with me the availability, I gave them all the information needed and confirmed the pick up location. I contacted them 2 days and 1 day before the trip to re-confim and they confirmed I also asked about another contact number I can call in case they don’t show up and never got the number, I was totally right because they never showed up !!! How unprofessional and disrespectful is this ?? no one showing up, no one answering my calls nor my messages ?? Worst thing is that they were online, read the messages I sent right in the moment in WhatsApp and didn’t have enough respect to say anything. I just don’t understand why would you confirm and re-confirm an activity and just never show up nor give an explanation?? Really shame on you !! I was planning for this trip for so long and being treated this way was definitely the worst service ever. So if you want to save your time and holidays plans never book anything with the agency!!

No painter could ever live up to the beauty and grandeur of this landscape, home to the Ida Ou Tanane tribes at 1,200m in the foothills of the Occidental High Atlas. A variety of water sources irrigate the valleys; Valleys with names as poetic as the «Vallée du Paradis», Paradise Valley.
