Amazing landscapes, hidden spots and great conversation learning about local culture and customs -all that on top of gorgeous Hallstatt. Lena was so generous with advice and flexibility. Martin Luther is NOT the same historical figure as MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr. Germany is not the same nation as the US. Martin Luther was the great GERMAN reformer of the 1500s. Martin Luther King Jr. was the great civil rights American reformer of the 1960s. I keep trying to help this organization, but they don't seem to worry about trivia like historical facts.

The hot tip for us on this day was letting MCM do the driving and pick the itinerary. We took some back roads that we never would have found past farms with amazing alpine views and learned a lot about local life and the area. We were able to tailor the trip to our interests and could have done some guided hiking - another option the company offers that we would do next time. Awesome lunch on a terrace with a view and fun off the beaten path trip!
