I was in Cape Charles for a weekend of rest. I was told about this shop by the innkeepers who hosted my stay. They told me and another person about the shop and yup go see John and Honey. So, off we went. John had such an amazing amount of knowledge about wines and the components! He helped me find a wonderful red wine and where I could buy it at home. Honey was such a lovely lady! She made an impromptu patio for us and a another couple tho sit outside and enjoy our wine. They made us feel so welcome and like we we're old friends coming to visit. I will definitely be returning to Cape Charles and The Gull Hummock! My trip would not have been as fun without coming to this shop! A must to visit!

We go hiking and bird watching all year at Kiptopeke State Park. Because it is in the eastern most part of the state it is a very well used flyway for migrating birds. They also have a really nice Hawk watching station. The Park has an excellent boat ramp. The boat ramp may be a little crowded at times but if you are willing to wait a few minutes there is always a slot to launch and a place to park your truck and trailer. Finally, the Park also has a really nice beach so lots to enjoy.

Great exhibits and trails at the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula! If you are in the area for an extended stay there are guided tours of Fishermans Island! There is also a 6 mile bike that connects with the Kiptopeake State Park!

Enjoy a stop at the Scenic Overlook, located on the southern tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore, offering breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay and the facility. AND, if you want to take home a remembrance of your travels, visit Virginia Originals Gift Shop, located inside the Welcome Center and Rest Area at the North Toll Plaza on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Construction of the Parallel Thimble Shoal Tunnel is underway and the facility will remain open to traffic throughout construction. Upon completion, a new fishing pier will open on the southernmost island in 2024. Don't forget your E-ZPass!

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge is an incredible sight. You drive for several miles over the bay and the views are breathtaking. You can see many ships in the bay and enjoy the smell of saltwater all the way across. Definitely a to do item.

We've been to Cape Charles several times now and love this beach with young children because of the very gentle waves, plentiful soft sand, and very shallow waters for even the youngest toddlers to play in.

My two teenage children are both vegan and we stumbled upon CC Brewing Company because they serve the BEYOND BURGER” which is vegan. The whole experience was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The beer ( not normally a beer drinker) was great. The food was fabulous ! The Beyond Burger was great. The fries were the absolute best. The soft pretzel great with beer. We sat outside ( although there was inside seating). Highly recommend if your traveling through you won’t be disappointed.
