Don't be fooled. It's just a mall that uses "outlet" to pull tourists of off the highway. There is nothing wrong with it, except it gets hotter than hades in walkways as it's outside in El Paso during the summer and stagnant because the buildings prevent airflow. Also, expect to walkthrough cigarette smoke. Often. The prices are identical to all other malls you'll encounter, there is nothing outstanding here though the variety is very good and you will can find some hard to find stores.

Excellent display of a number of historically important aircraft. Lots of interesting explanations, historical photos, uniforms, ejection seats, engines, and an amazing (to me anyway) display of hydrogen bombs!
You could spend a lot of time in this museum.
Penny's diner is a good nearby place to eat (1 mile). Modern and clean, but small.
It is part of the the Oak Tree Inn (didn't stay there but looks nice).

New Mexico's Oldest Winery, the ancient tradition of winemaking continues along the don Juan de Oñate Trail
We were afraid they weren't open. But they close only on Wednesdays, so we were in luck! They give a souvenir glass with the tasting, and they change their logo about every 6 months. Our glasses have a cute turtle on them, and they sell shirts with the logos, too. The owner is very personable, so we chatted quite a while. The courtyard inside their gate and fountain are lovely. Charming place!

Looked totally promising, but nothing really interesting there. Tons of old wood burning stoves which were nice...if you were looking for one...but expensive. The best thing is if you are a vinyl collector...which is am not, but there are an INSANE amount of records in this place. INSANE AMOUNT. It is a "check mark" place as in...been there...did it...no need to ever return.

We offer open cockpit biplane rides in a 1941 Boeing Stearman at the Santa Teresa airport near El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM. Whether you are passing through or live in the area our scenic air tour rides offer memories you will never forget. Our rides make great gift ideas as well.
I originally was interested in this as a birthday gift for my fiancé. In the end, we both went up in the plane (separately) and are still talking about it with our friends and family weeks later. Riding in a 1941 open cockpit biplane over El Paso, the Franklin mountains, Mesilla Valley..... The views were incredible, the ride was much smoother and more relaxing than I had expected, and Steve is so knowledgable that, having just moved to the area, I learned a lot from him about the plane and the place! It was truly a unique, unforgettable experience.

If you visit El Paso you MUST go visit Scenic Point. The views from here are awesome. Where else can you see 2 counties and 3 states from one point. The panoramic views will take your breath away! You can see Texas (east, west and central), New Mexico and Mexico! words cannot describe the view, and at night it's a completely and even more breathtaking view!

America's largest urban park measures more than 24,247 acres, covering 37 square miles.
I had no idea El Paso had such beautiful scenery. Must see for every visitor: views of the city and Mexico were amazing. This is something you can drive through quickly or stop and do a little hiking and sightseeing along the way

The wife and I went up on the Aerial Tram on February 3rd, 2018. Plenty of parking was available and the ticket prices very reasonable. The park rangers are all very personable and the views absolutely spectacular. A few picnic tables are on the mountain top and many patrons did bring up various lunches to enjoy eating there surrounded by the magnificent views. The gift shop items were reasonably priced.
It was truly a great experience and a “must do” when visiting El Paso.

The museum tells the story of the U.S. Border Patrol, but (sadly) the displays are quite disappointing. I understand that it's maintained by private donations, which is probably why it's pretty shabby. There's even grass growing in the boat that's on display out back. It's free, so the price is right, but go with limited expectations.
