Amazing, beautiful, thought provoking place to visit. The grounds are kept immaculate. When every where a round us is in chaos, this is a place of reflection of how futile war is. Nobody really wins in the long run . The loss of life on both sides, some only boys.

A beautiful little cemetery where soldiers of New Zealand, from the Great War, have been laid to rest. Sadly they never made it home but hopefully the surrounding countryside is a reminder of their homeland.

Your local theatre in Staffordshire providing arts, culture, music, drama and performing arts events.
Last night we went to see Blyth Spirit and I have to say it was wonderful, the cast were fantastic as was the set and all the staff. Friendly welcome as soon as we walked in, when Elvera walked on set it was like watching the original film (one of my top ten favourites) she had all the character of Kay Hammond

This is an interesting and peaceful place to visit. There are 2 cemeteries. There are commonwealth graves, a Polish grave and German graves in the first cemetery and German and Ukraine graves in the larger cemetery. I would particularly recommend listening to one of the guides from the commonwealth war graves commission. We had a guided tour lasting 1 1/2hrs explaining the work of the CWGC and explaining who is buried in the cemeteries and picking out individual graves to tell their stories. Very interesting and informative and I would recommend it as a fascinating place made all the better by our GWGC guide. We will certainly visit again.

The old hill fort is worth visiting, great to let the kids and dogs run free and then pop to the local pub for lunch or dinner

A real ale pub in the heart of Cannock. Offering up to 8 real ales, 2 real ciders and 4 craft keg beers, along with a range of canned and bottled beers and ciders.
This is a really nice friendly pub, cosy and with a good choice of craft beer, The staff are. Friendly and there are always a good bunch of people to chat to. There are often special nights, vinyl nights etc, it's well worth giving the Fb page a visit to see what's on. Give it a try you won't be dissapointed

Fab cinema, comfortable seats, good value 5* Food is competitivly priced for a cinema, cheap enough to buy from here rather than try to sneak in sweets ????
