Candolim is just north of the Mandovi river and is home to Goa's most popular and well known resort and holiday village. As such, it's not a typical backpackers destination. The Candolim beach itself does not have much to offer when compared to its livelier neighbor, Calangute. Had a great time ! Drive to the falls was breathtaking amid lush green forests. Jeep safari from the gate to the falls was the most memorable part of the trip apart from the Waterfall. Next we were taken to the spice plantation where we had a hearty lunch. Food was simple but very rustic. Loved the aroma! After that a guide took us on the tour of the spice garden and explained about the different varieties. I would like to thank Tripbea for this amazing experience and would strongly recommend this trip to everyone.
