This tour was recently awarded a “Canadian Signature Experience” by The Canadian Tourist Association as one of the best tours offered in the region. Search for gold on the historic Li-lik-hel Mine Expedition. Ride on trails that were originally cut by the miners and have been pounded in by years of horses transporting the gold ore to the rail-head in the early 1900’s. Spend three days and two nights in BC’s spectacular Coast Mountain Range. During this time, you’ll explore the beautiful mountain range between Birkenhead Lake and the Li-lik-hel mine. Rivers, lakes, forests, alpine meadows, old mine packhorse trails and single track await your expedition. Sure-footed gentle mountain horses will carry you to each campground where our guides set up camp and cook a dinner around the campfire. Over the three days you will get to know the horse that we have picked to match your abilities and learn to appreciate their nature.

My partner and I only had 2 weeks to cram in the whole of BC. This totally ticked all the boxes. We got to see the highlights and some of the smaller, quieter tourist spots. Steph, our driver, was ace and the people travelling with us made it our most memorable trip so far. We went in August so the attractions were busy which is to be expected. The activities included were great and the hikes were incredible, with Steph as a personal tour guide. We got the accommodation package which was worth the money and totally hassle free. I would recommend Moose Bus to anyone, even if it's simply a day trip.

Nice and relaxing trip that I enjoyed immensely. I have done 3 trips with Lake Fever Wilderness Co. and every trip has been a mesmerizing experience with different groups of people, but with one similarity, that is these travel experiences helped me just get away from the city life and spend some time in solitude with nature and one's self. And the guide and creator of Lake Fever Wilderness Co. is a wonderful person with knowledge of the area around, that makes the trip easy going and you can just sit back and relax while enjoying the views. Lovely Adventures !
