Campbelltown Arts Centre

If your in the area take some time to drop by. Entry is free. Open till pm Monday to Friday and also Saturday morning, however check out the weekend opening hours on their website as times can vary. The art shows rotate so there is always something new to see. There is a small gift shop stocked with a small amount of local items and also a wider collection of art books. There is a cafe on site that serves snacks and meals and is very reasonably priced. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. There is a Japanese Garden and a lovely little pond filled with Carp of all shapes and colours including dazzling golds. They will come toward you if they think you have food. Plenty of birds and small lizards make this garden home and often the local Australian Mynas (birds) will drop by your table looking for a treat. If that isn't enough there is also a sculpture garden.

Macarthur Square, located in South West Sydney in the city of Campbelltown, is one of the largest shopping centres in Sydney and services a huge area including the Illawarra. A bus hub and Macarthur railway station (connected via corso bridge) makes it so easy to get to by public transport. The Square boasts the majority of the big retailers and the variety of stores is brilliant. There are 2 main food courts providing a great selection of cuisines PLUS Kellicar Lane, an outdoor restaurant & entertainment precinct, boasts everything from Bavarian to fast as well as fine dining Japanese to Italian to various Asian offerings. The Square also has coffee shops in abundance. Kellicar Lane also provides a bowling alley/laser tag facility plus Event cinemas. The 3 main supermarket chains are available as are many fresh food and liquor stores. It certainly is my go to shopping precinct.

Darrell Lea

You might be initially disappointed when you enter the shop for it is so small! But the good thing is, their prices are equally small (low!). Get many of your favourite chocolate goodies ate incredibly low prices. Perfect if you are gonna hold a party, or have many gifts to give away, esp for kids! Good range of products from caramel, licorice, nougats etc etc etc.... The only downside is the location. Getting into the carpark is easy, but exiting can be a nightmare because it is on the ramp that the entrance/exit to the M5 on Brooks Road. Recommendation: Go at non-rush hours. Saturday is the best time as traffic activity is low.

It is a market that is perhaps out of the way for tourist, but if you do like to have a go for some really rad, cheap and WIDE range of stuff (clothes, gardening tools, flowers/plants, toys etc. etc. etc...), this is THE place to be! They sell things at low low rates, all catered for the locals with no unnecessary inflationary prices to get the tourist buck. Worth a visit! It is jammed packed every Saturday morning and it boasts of so many stores, you'd have to walk around 2-3x to make a decision on what to get! Competitive prices!
