Holly Hill Farm

Holly Hill Farm is an interactive and vast petting farm located in the heart of Campbell River, on Canada’s beautiful Vancouver Island. The winner of Campbell River’s ‘Best New Business’ Award, Holly Hill Farm is open to the public every Sunday from 10-2:00 (mid-March through October). Truly a hands-on experience like no other, visitors can scratch a pot belly pig’s belly and, on lucky occasions, witness the birth of a newborn sheep or goat! Developing into a cultural and agricultural hub of Campbell River, Holly Hill Farm also hosts community events, birthday parties, summer camps, and educational after-school programs. Shelter Point Distillery

The venue is impressive with two giant copper stills, a welcoming tasting bar, a leather chair lounge with fireplace, and an excellent tour to explain how the products are made. We didn’t try the flavoured vodkas but the whiskey was yummy, perfect for a cold night by a hot fire!

Elk Falls Suspension Bridge

Reviewed By barbs492 - Sooke, Canada

Wonderful hiking/ walking trails through old growth forest right down to the Campbell River and also to a suspension bridge overlooking Elk Falls. Go early and take the time to do all the trails. Make sure to stop at the small museum for information and the story of the John Hart power station. We met a friendly informative volunteer there who gave us a short history- just the right amount of information! Thanks.
