Cambria /ˈkeɪmbriə/ is a seaside village in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California State Route 1 (Highway 1). The name Cambria, chosen in 1869, is the Latin name for Wales. Cambria is situated amidst Monterey pines in one of only three such native forests. Previously, the town had gone by the names of Slabtown, Rosaville, San Simeon and Santa Rosa. The corresponding census designated place (CDP) had a population of 6,032 at the 2010 census, slightly down from 6,232 at the 2000 census.

Artifacts Gallery represents the country's leading artists, both in sculpture and paintings. We have a unique blend of art, sculptures, gifts, jewelry, glass, and garden decor. We also have a custom frame shop for all of your framing needs. Established in 1993, Artifacts Gallery is a large, fine art gallery owned by Thad Markham, in business at this same address for over twenty years. We are located in the historic coastal community of Cambria, California, midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. This small village (population 6,500) on the unspoiled Central Coast is nestled in the Monterey Pine forest along spectacular Highway 1. We're serious about art, but that doesn't mean art is always a serious business! Our gallery is a welcoming space with art consultants who treat everyone like a new friend. Our well-informed, friendly staff has one mission: to help you find the art you love that will make your home a beautiful expression of your personality.
this place has unique art from a variety of artists. very unusual, some whimsical, some Goddards at reasonable prices. Really excellent and worth a stop.

We stopped in to just look around, but then noticed the jewelry and stayed much longer than anticipated. The silver chains is what really interested us and the owner was super accommodating. We ended up going back the next day to buy more. There is much more than jewelry to this gallery; I recommend stopping in.

Established in 2014, owner Lorraine Montello has always believed that fresh California olive oil and aged Italian balsamic vinegar should be accessible, fun to learn about, and easy to enjoy. So she designed a better oil and vinegar tasting room experience that's all about you. With free daily offerings that includes complimentary bread, guests are encouraged to ask questions and experiment with the provided pairing suggestions.
Montello is a unique experience in Cambria. They import a tremendous variety of balsamics from Italy and have many of their imported olive oils infused with flavors from local farms. You can taste every variety they carry, a treat in itself. We thought about buying one or two bottles but ended up with 8 because they were all so wonderful. The white balsamic is very special and especially good for baking fish. And the prices, for this quality vinegars and oils, are reasonable. If you love to cook don't miss this little shop of flavors.

Visitors to Cambria can now indulge in the complete winery experience, from vineyard to tasting room, just minutes from Downtown Cambria, along picturesque Santa Rosa Creek Road. We grow and bottle Coastal Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. Our boutique winery and tasting room is family owned and operated. Come join us in our tasting room among the vines.
We fell in love with this winery while staying in Cambria. To be honest, I just booked a here because it was the closet winery to our vacation rental. We loved it so much that we visited a total of three times. I made a reservation to sit at a picnic table in their grassy area next to the tasting room. From the moment we got there, Katie made us feel like family. She was delightful. Stolo has done such a nice job of practicing safety protocols (social distant tables, masks, hand sanatizer). The view is amazing and the wine is great. I wish I was there right now enjoying a nice pinot noir and looking at the hillside.

Decided to stop by before dinner for a wine tasting of local wines. The shop is really cute with lots of fun accessories. The tasting itself was very reasonable (1$ per tasting), with lots of great local wines to try. The woman serving us (Sherry) was super friendly and very informative, and while we hadn’t intended to buy more than a bottle, thanks to her great information and company we left with 6 bottles! Looking forward to drinking them with friends over the next few days.
