We found this place by accident when we attended a birthday party at the beach. Found out that they have wonderful yurts!!! There's great trails especially down to the beach. You can hike from the camp grounds to treat yourself at the café at Kayak Pt Golf.

Camping park encompasses 134 acres of protected forest and rocky beach offering hiking trails, boating, fishing and scuba diving.
CISP is super easy to get to, and a wonderful day trip from Seattle or Everett. It has a lovely campground with about 88 spots, many nice for RV's. It has 2 different picnic/day use areas with lovely views. A very nice and well used boat launch, and excellent bathroom facilities. Cama Beach State Park is right next door, with fun trails and a cafe.

This is a great combination of art, craft, food and drink, all from local artists. Enjoy hand-thrown pottery, jewelry, glass items, baby stuff, handmade chocolates and more! The latest addition is a french bakery, open on a few selected days. Be sure to visit when they are open! Also a lunch counter, and a great butcher where you can select something wonderful for the night's dinner! There is something for everyone here.

Over 330 acres of protected birding area home to eagles, hummingbirds, shorebirds and many others.
Spent hours here, walking trails, having lunch and watching birds. The trails are level and in good conditions even with all the rain we have gotten this winter. The Hobbit trail was interesting. Canopy with lots of moss. Exposed roots, a good way to burn a couple hours after lunch.
The beach requires a little traversing through years of driftwood but that also makes for a shelter build, fun project for the kids. Bring a lunch, wonderful place for a picnic. This is really the only sandy beach on the island, in summer the water is still chilly but manageable.

A fine art gallery and sculpture park in the middle of the woods. Karla Matzke has created a beautiful haven for art on Blanche Way, Camano Island. Many well-known local and regional artists exhibit there or have their works available during Karla's periodic Art Auctions. It's a beautiful place to enjoy both gallery art and a 10 acre Sculpture Park filled with large installations and pieces.
For me, this gallery is a definite "Must See" when visiting Camano Island and takes about 15 minutes to drive there after getting on the island from the mainland causeway.

This is a fabulous walk for nature lovers. It's flat but there are many obstacles to overcome. It has several bald eagle nests on the bluff, and because it's right on the water, lots of cranes, ducks and other birds. If you come at different times, the tide swings are huge here. A totally different view and experience each time with the critters. A good walk with the dogs but parking can be tricky. Very relaxing and does have benches and a small shelter with tables.
