I was totally in awe at the craftmanship in this garden. I admire the time and effort and expertise it has taken to create this peaceful place. There was so much to see and to actually see it all took some time. There is no charge to go, but I did contribute to the donation box. I have never in my life seen anything so amazing.

We were traveling home Orlando to St. Louis with our 5 children ranging in age from six to twelve and were looking for a bit of history to see when I stumbled upon New Echota, the story of the Cherokee, and the Trail of Tears. This is truly a beautiful place, full of rich history, and an often forgotten about time. There is a small Museum, which is kept up well by volunteers, closed Mondays. We watched a short film (approximately 17 min long) that tells the story of the Cherokee, which includes details of the Cherokee Phoenix- the first printed Indian newspaper, and ends with the signing of New Echota Treaty, and ultimately the Trail of Tears. Aftwerwards you lead yourself on a guided tour throughout the acreage they have. Audio can be downloaded on your phone which was nice. We all loved the hands on experience. They had a lot of replicas onsite. You could go inside the Old courthouse and sit. It was nice for our kids to run around for a bit before heading out on the road. Overall the experience was a great chance to pause and reflect on the past and get a true feeling for the tragedy that occurred. Even our very young ones were talking about it for hours after we left.

Sunflower festival: watermelon eating contest, sunflower princess pageant, cutting sunflowers, hay rides Corn maze and pumpkin patch: pony rides, cow train, pumpkin princess pageant, giant slides, jumping pillow, live pig races, monster cannon Christmas on the farm: Santa and elves, journey on polar express, live nativity, barnyard animals.
Very well kept farm. Most attractions are set up for smaller kids, although there are several "relaxing" rides for adults. A little pricey to get for a family, and the food is expensive also. But compared to other venues, prices seem to be average. Typical attractions for a country fall festival. But don't forget to watch for the candy canon! You have to visit to know what I am talking about.

A lot of main stores are gone. Found a super cute clothing store on the other end from when you come in, that has variety and good prices Royal Hair. I mean really good prices and super sweet family! Items you will not see in this mall (Trust me!). They just don't look like they belong there. Maybe in another better mall or the city. Clothes are so cool! My kids loved it! This outlet needs like 20 more stores like this one but happy we did find them(wish they would move to Rome). They are the only color in the outlet. Owners son was so sweet! Thanks Brandon for all your help! We will be back to see you guy's soon.
