We come here specifically to drive the scenic, windy roads. The views are awesome, and if you get lucky, you can open it up a bit, lol. Usually, though, the traffic is heavy. Sigh.

We went there in September for the sunflowers. I will suggest people to go in the morning, because when we went the in the afternoon at around 3pm, the sun was not perfect for photo effect as the heads of the sunflowers were tuning to the other side. They have corn maze, which was my daughters top choice and apple farm. My mom took a lot of pictures in the orchard, and she brought her friends from our homecountry to be there again in October. They do charge a fee for entrance and offer shuttle trucks. But I can't remember the cost. Anyway, it's a nice place for the weekend.

We just returned from Glamping at Alabaster Acres and the experience was beyond our expectations! The Platinum Hideaway is beautifully decorated; the design is well thought-out; the total privacy makes you feel you are miles away from the city and from people. It’s a magical visit from the minute you enter the property. Between the friendly goats, dogs, horses, bunnies, chickens and the owner herself, Aimee, you instantly feel right at home. Upon entering, you will feel like you are in a wonderland with Christmas lights everywhere (and always on) and well-spaced tents, a cute library nook that hosts numerous games/books and two swinging sofas. The Platinum Hideaway is a space just for you - with your own outdoor shower, bar, bathtub and throne. Inside the tent, you have a chest of drawers with adorable crystal knobs, a bar-fridge (quite spacious too!), a palm, a king-size bed with bedding to die for!, end tables, sofa (also a pull-out bed) and coffee table and the best part is the wood burning fireplace fully stocked to keep you cozy any time of the day or night! She even has a carbon monoxide monitor in the tent! Outside your tent, you have Muskoka chairs which surround a Firepit - great for S’mores! The outdoor kitchen/bar has every utensil, dish, glassware, pots and pans you would ever need! The shower and tub have bubble bath, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. She even has every spice you need! Aimee has also hired the sweetest people to help her with this amazing concept. The whole experience is very memorable and will leave you wanting to come back! We will be returning, more than once! The McLean Family

My daughter and I each enjoyed two treatments at this wonderful spa. So many services to choose from, it was hard to decide. There are amazing hot springs there which added to the relaxation, as well as a cold water plunge pool and a good gym. Beautiful robes are available for use. Great Spa to go to for a day but even nicer to stay overnight!
