After a frustrating morning of getting lost in Caldas Novas because of bad directions in Trip Advisor it was nice to have old fashion signs telling us how to go. We visited the closer waterfall a walk described as 300 meters. It was worth the walk. Most of the way was shaded by trees and contrary to some other reviewers there was plenty of water in the water fall and the pool at the bottom. We also got a glimpse of a small monkey on the way to the falls. It was really cute but didn't hang around long enough for a photo. We chose not to do the other hike as it was a full kilometer with little or no shade and it was 2pm on a very hot day. Note: remember to either wear or bring footwear that can go into water. We didn't so I was unable to take full advantage of the water at the end of the trail. We also saw the little museum with stuffed or otherwise preserved animals. It was small and not very well kept up. I prefer seeing the live monkey. The employees are very nice and willingly provide lots of information.

It was nice to hear the story and visit the Shrine. The view from up there is nice and the place has a good energy. The temple is under construction, so in a few years it will be a great place to return to.

The building is the oldest in downtown and after a reconstruction in 1999 they kept the walls and pillars. It's an interesting place to visit, almost always opened, with an active community of faith!
It's surrounded with places to eat.

Great place for kids! There are thermal pools and fun activities for kids to enjoy the day. If you are on a low budget, eating there might be a problem.

Lots of different pools, slides and water activities. Cold beer, cheap eats and fun times. Get there early and stay all day for about $15. pp. Bring lots of suntan lotion. Hot all year round.

This lovely Japanese garden is perfect for peaceful meditation and a stroll. The landscaping represents passages of life so it is helpful to have a guide that can explain the Buddhist and Zen philosophy behind the garden. The colourful peacocks are a beautiful addition to the landscape.

It's been a few years that we had been to this water park, but we can still remember how modern and clean this park is, also there are a lot of attractions, not much crowded, fair price, and off course, definitely hot water. In conclusion, absolutely recommended when visiting Brazil.

Lugar muito interessante, bom para conhecer a vida como era antigamente! Possui alguns itens usados no século 18. Tudo muito organizado e bem conservada, esta casa fica dentro do Sesc. Vale a pena a visita.
