Calafell blends the richness of its heritage with the attractiveness of five kilometres of golden sand beaches, unique in the Costa Dorada. The Iberian Citadel, Casa Barral, Bot Salvavides (Lifeboat), the Sant Miquel Church or the Santa Creu Castle are landmarks of the area's history and serve as a guide from the Old World to the new, where music, sport, sea and gastronomy coexist.

The Iberian Citadel of Calafell is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites of the Iberian times (6th to 2nd centuries BC) in our country due to its singularity. Its experimental reconstruction "in situ" makes the Citadel an appropriate place for all range of public in order to know how the Cossetan Iberians lived more than 2000 years ago.

Escape Room located in the middle of Calafell. At the moment, it has one game named The Gatsby Club, it is about a mafia club and set in the twenties. It is in spanish, but very soon will be in english too. Also, there is a child version. Soon, they will open two new games in the same place.

Calafell Slide is a giant summer bobsled run where you ride on a wheeled bob that has brakes to contol the speed easily. Children from 3 years on are allowed. Those who are younger than 8 years can go together wiht an adult. Come and enjoy the fresh air together with your family and friends, get a charge of adrenaline on the giant toboggan and get rid of after-hunger with a pizza or some other of our delicious snacks together with an nice cold drink. See you soon!
We visited on a Thursday evening, taxi from Calafell cost 8euros, lots of places to sit in shade or sun, and a little playground. We had a drink first as you are up on a hill the view down towards the sea was lovely. The two children aged 6 and 8 absolutely loved the slide! We brought them 3 rides each, each time they were accompanied by an adult, we found it extremely fun too! It can go very fast, or very slow so it’s completely up to you to control the speed. It had a lovely atmosphere so we were going to have dinner there, but as it wasn’t summer season yet, they were not serving pizza but we would have eaten there ova wise. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they ordered us a taxi back after we had been there for an hour and a half. We had no ques, had the whole place to ourselves at one point. Definitely recommend a visit as it will be our children's favourite memory from the holiday. If you have a car then even better, there is a little car park and is only short ride from town. We will return for sure next summer!
