Haven’t been to Gors Bach in decades so was really impressed with the renovations. Friendly local staff made us feel welcome and served us with great food. I had fish and chips which was fresh and tasty. Everyone else also enjoyed their food which was reasonably priced. Surprised it was so quiet but I suppose we were early in the evening. Diolch.

I went here on a school trip and we had so much fun. I learnt a lot and would definitely go again! We went kayaking, keel boat sailing, paddle boarding and more! There is a Leap Of Faith for those who love a height challenge! (It is safe - we used harnesses). Some of my school friends had their birthday while we were there, and the staff were kind enough to make them a cake. The instructors were very lovely and very good teachers! Hope to come back again! Thank you Plas Menai!

The vineyard and orchard has been planted on the south facing glacial slopes of the valley, at the foothills of Snowdon. Pant Du is a family run cafe, shop, vineyard and orchard business. With spectacular views of the magnificent Snowdonia mountain range to the North East, and panoramic views of the sea to the West, Pant Du is an idyllic location to enjoy the spectacular natural beauty Snowdonia has to offer. Visiting Pant Du Vineyard and Orchard is a great experience for the family, for local and tourist visitors alike, as pd is the first commercial Vineyard in Gwynedd. Or why not organise a group visit to Pant Du, and take a guided educational tour around the vineyard and orchard. Come and visit us and see our vines and orchard for yourself in this scenic part of North Wales. Why not relax and have a glass of Pant Du Cider or a glass of our very own Wine in the tranquillity of the vineyard, or try our specially selected wines from across the world while taking in the scenic view around you.

We visited Caernarfon Castle and found the RWF museum in the castle itself. The museum is well laid out and full of information about the Army and specifically the RWF and the impact they have had on conflicts through out teh years, specially for me WW1, which is a great interest of mine. There are a number of well laid out displays, backed up with great little scenes from the units history. A little shop at the end allows you to support the museum, please do so as this is the only way museums like this keep going.

When booking a caravan holiday to climb Snowdon I looked at what else was in the area and came across Piggery Pottery. The husband was unsure thinking we would be the only adults when in fact there wasn't any kids there at all! It's a great experience for all, kids and adults. The two hours flew by, didn't have chance to complete my second one but I will do that at home. Its very therapeutic and could of happily spent all day there. Reasonably priced, prices for any budget. We spent just under £50 for the painting experience and 4 pieces. The people that work there are lovely and provide you with a box to take them home and tealights if you buy an ornament that can have a tealight in it. Will definitely be visiting again if we are ever in the area again. Absolutely loved it!

Spent a few hours visiting this copper mine .The cafe was inexpensive and served traditional pasties ,and tasty coffee before the tour .There was a shop that was also interesting and full of inexpensive goods to buy ,and quality goods. The tour itself was on your own with commentary stations providing all the information on route .There were a few stairs to climb up inside the mines. This was an enjoyable tour .
