Historic site with guided tours of original roadhouse (hotel) built in 1860. OVer 20 original buildings and many pieces of old farm equipment. First Nations site has a winter lodge and displays of early food storage, shelters, and traditions. Stage Coach rides every day, short shows daily in July and August, and all is included with your admission. A gift/souvenir shop and restaurant are also in the main reception building.
After over 3 months of camping in BC, Yukon and Alaska this was one of the most peaceful and beautiful places we camped. The camp sites have 30 amp service with no water or sewer hookup. Restrooms are available with showers on the grounds. This place is very well kept and beautiful. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Thanks!

We were so impressed with this campsite that we returned for two nights this year. Absolutely no changes, the campsite is still really well maintained and the hosts are so helpful and kind. Once again the tables were spotless and every campsite was raked and level. The river was quite high but overnight it dropped quite a lot and the trees and beach started to appear. Lots of birds here all busy building nests and chattering. So peaceful if you can block out the trains. A nice way to doze during the day is to count the carriages, I got to 179! We will be back.

We stopped here on a weekend trip on a sunny October weekend - the trees were golden, the lakes brilliant colours. On a previous trip, I think there were some small leaflets available with a map and some background information, which added significantly to our enjoyment and understanding. Unfortunately, no information was available this time - not even a map showing the layout of the park and where all three lakes were. I would suggest BC Parks should provide this information as it would make a visit much more enjoyable.
