As a well-known destination for both spring breakers and A-list travelers in need of a getaway, Cabo San Lucas has definite vacation cred. The beaches here range in temperament, from the serene waters of the Sea of Cortez and Playa del Amor to the kickin’ waves of Zippers, a surfing paradise. If you care to romp with locals, head to the coves and rock formations of the Cannery beaches. Kids will have a blast communing with the local animals by swimming with dolphins or taking a camel ride through the Desert Park Natural Reserve.

The Golden Cactus Gallery has moved again. Now located 3 miles from the Marina, it is on the Highway to Todos Santos, at kilometer 2.5, in Casa Blanca shopping mall. At the stop light one mile past Soriana, make a U-turn, and the mall will be on your left in about 100 feet. The gallery represents more than 20 artists, all expressing their love of Mexico. Open since 1997, it is the only fine art gallery in town.

It is a store that specialize in Mexican art and handcrafted jewelry, is a family business and is run by its owner Carlo sotelo have 22 years experience in Cabo San Lucas.
This amazing place with the kindest owner is certainly Trip Advisor #1 in Cabo San Lucas. From the minute you enter the shop, owner, Carlo Sotelo, greets you the way a friend welcomes you back home. It is genuine & you know immediately this is a place you want to stay for awhile. The only problem we had was choosing which of the gorgeous original works of art we wanted to take home because each was exceptional in design, originality and price. Besides the artwork, there’s so much more to see. All that is Mexico is on display - stunning jewelry, crafts, ceramics, talavera. The best of the best is here. When your new friend pours you a sipping shot of the most delicious almond tequila, you know you’ll be coming back for more friendship, art, and tequila. So after talking over our plans, we returned a few days later & are now the very proud owners of 2 original paintings by the renowned artist, Norberto Flores Villegas from Acapulco and we couldn’t be happier. The blessing of the beautiful art that will adorn our home, was made all the sweeter when Carlo gifted us with a beautiful bag and inside the bag was a bottle of the unforgettable almond tequila we had enjoyed with him a few days prior. If you choose to spend some time in Cabo gazing upon all the treasures to be found in this wonderful shop, we guarantee you that you will see why Carlo is the most wonderful example of Mexican hospitality and you will have a new friend. Highly recommended. 10 stars. Kittie Brown & Chris Bloch Pasadena,CA & Cabo San Lucas

Hector Estrada Art Gallery is located a block away from the local museum of Cabo San Lucas, an Art Gallery that not only share with you great work, but also the whole essence of the artist.
Hector is an amazing artist and such a nice person. I have been fortunate enough to get to know him over the last couple of years. He let me use his studio to paint and helped me a lot with my painting. His art is very original and interesting. He not only paints but does metal sculptures as well. I highly recommend checking out his gallery

100% Cabo made Mexican and Latin American Art, we use paper, fabric an metals to make our designs which includes sculptures, tapestries, mirrors and furniture with collage technique never seen in Mexico before.
We have been coming to Cabo since 2007. This place had a different name then but we sought out finding it again a few visits ago and we couldn’t be happier! We have met Pablo many times and he is always so kind and informative. We have never felt pressured to buy anything. We have bought pieces by Maximiliano. His median is paper piecing to create scenes. Our most recent purchase is The Three Amigas by Max and three other oil on canvas paintings. We now live in Cabo and before purchasing they brought the art to our house to see how it would look. This will be a long and lasting relationship with Pablo & Abdiel as we plan to meet them in Guadalajara to shop together in the future. Happy to have them as friends!

The concept of arts and crafts in Mexico expresses a cultural and symbolic process in which imagination and hard work come together to bring out the diversity of its people.

This local museum gives a good historical introduction to Baja California and considers some challenges, such as water, within a world-wide context. In addition to traditional cultural displays including the woman donor there aare many video stations. There is no gift shop or cafe, but the plaza in front has shade and trees. Although only several blocks away from the busy harbor, this quiet museum is worth a visit.

Great, unique jewelry and art. I bought a ring and beaded mask both at reasonable prices. As for the other reviews, I believe he has two stores. This was right on the main strip and easy to find. Very nice man who educated me on the craft of beading and what they symbold mean. They were making one right there.
