Whenever we’re visiting Palm Springs or the vicinity, we try to always incorporate shopping at desert hills. There’s a HUGE variety of stores which include all major brands and designers. No other outlet in California comes close to this one! Be prepared to walk a lot because of parking and the large shopping area. The best time to get bargains is in December in my opinion. Plenty of food options also. Definitely a shop till you drop experience!

Featuring two large dinos - one that holds the gift store, this unique roadside attraction is a great rest stop for all - Nestled at the base of the mountains, this park also features a large exhibit (entrance fee) that we walked by but didn't go in; would be a hit for any dino fan in the family-

This was our first time stopping at these outlet stores and what a pleasant surprise it was! They had outlet stores I had never knew existed! Gucci, Prada, Karl Lagerfeld, Chloe, Jimmy Chou, just to name a few!! They also had the standards like Nike, Adidas, Coach, Polo, etc. This can be an entire day of shopping! Please stop here. You will not be disappointed. But bring some strong arms to carry your treasures. You will surely find them here!!

After spending several hours at the Cabazon Outlet Mall, ventured over to the Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa to spend a few hours playing the slot machines. Morongo Casino opened its doors in 2004. It is a 195.000 square foot 27 story palace of luxury and gaming excitement. Hotel has 272 guest rooms, 32 suites and six over the top luxurious casitas with unbelievable amenities; Oasis Pool and onsite Resort Water Park with a sand beach, waterslides and river. The Casio has a bingo hall (able to accommodate 400 guest), and a top-notch cocktail lounge located on the 26 story of the building. One can lose your money playing on one of the 4000 new and classic slot machines and video poker machines. If slot machines are not your forte, you can play at 80 table games located throughout the facility. For those with an unlimited budget, there is a high limit room with numerous games. For your dinning pleasure there are numerous dining facilities (i.e., Cielo; Potrero Canyon Buffet (Temporarily closed); Good Times Café; Sunset Bar & Grill; Pink Coffee Sideline Bar & Grill; Mozen Asian Kitchen and The Morongo Food Court consisting of: Fatburger; Fiesta Taco). Food court is located next to the cashiers’ cage. Evening’s entertainment consists of top-notch musical acts, shows, etc. Had late afternoon lunch at the Mozen Asian Kitchen. Excellent selection of Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japan, and Thai cuisine. Ordered the Khoai tây chiên cua (Crab Fried Rice) and Phở bò (Beef Phở). Both dishes were excellent. Equal to or better that what you get in “Little Saigon”, however ridiculously overpriced. Spent 5 hours at the Morongo Casio, Resort & Spa playing the slot machines and just observing people losing their money. Managed to escape the Casio with several more dollars in the wallet then when I started with. Staff members are very professional and friendly. Mask and social distancing rules are in place at this facility. Overall an enjoyable day.
