Laissez les bons temps rouler! In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street, which, thanks to the city’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, has quite a party animal reputation. Once you’ve soaked up the scenery of the historic French Quarter, tour the elegant Garden District and meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street. Experience the city's supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum or by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and cemeteries.

Visiting Villalobos made me want to adopt all the dogs. It was so sad to see them in cages. Some of them have been there for years, but they are all well taken care of at the rescue. The tour was very informative and it raises awareness for pitbulls and the other dogs they have taken in. The staff was really great and the kisses and snuggles feom the dogs (through the cages) were heartwarming. Ask about the dog walking if you want a more up-close and personal experience with the dogs.

Located in an historic building completely refurbished after Hurricane Katrina -- it used to be a po-boy shop with GREAT sandwiches and the place you went to get turtles for your turtle soup recipe. Now it's open, modern, airy and bright. Many food vendors offering a variety of choices -- fresh juices and smoothies, coffee, chicken many different ways, Latin fresh-Mex, Asian (good assortment and Pho, seafood and more! The "more" is a full service bar. Place your order, select a seat, enjoy your meal .. great for solo diners, small groups and families. Outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice ... Good mix of locals and tourists.

We went at night, I thought someone was playing, but instead he was hanging out around the instruments. It was very well lite and walking around climbing on things was not problem. It wouldn't be good on a muddy day or a wheelchair bound person. We had so much fun playing all the different wacky instruments, who would have know that lids to a pot would sound so great? We didn't have any problems with our GPS finding this place, but it is off the beaten path. We told so many folks about this place. Kids of all ages were having a blast. We got a drink and walked around enjoying watching and playing all the fun instruments. Go and have some fun.
Hyph3n-Art is an art gallery featuring local and non-local artists. We frequently have events and art-openings, so please check our website to see what is coming up.
