Combine two great outdoor activities in the one day during your stay in Byron Bay. In the morning, explore the natural wonders of the World Heritage-listed Nightcap National Park on a guided walk to the base of the spectacular Minyon Falls. Take a swim in freshwater pools underneath the falls and then enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch (vegetarian option available on request). Head back to Byron Bay for your afternoon ocean kayak adventure and get up close with dolphins and turtles. During the months of May to October you may also be lucky enough to spot whales during their annual migration.

Join us on a journey through the magnificent Byron Bay hinterland to check out all the hippie things to do in Byron Bay and beyond. To start with, there’s every type of market, each with its own special vibe. (farmers or arts and crafts market, depending on the day). Explore the hippy town of Nimbin, and visit Nimbin Candles. Enjoy a locally-sourced picnic lunch. Visit the Rainbow Temple – a spiritual community nestled in the hinterland. Check out some waterfalls (Protesters Falls or Killen Falls depending on the conditions). Travel is in our luxury eight-seater 4WD. It’s a comfy ride, with great seats, air conditioning, video, sunroofs, and is easy to get in and out of. We’ve dubbed it the best tour vehicle in Byron Bay – because it is. Come on an adventure into the depths of Mount Jerusalem National Park and visit one of the locals' favourite spots, Hells Hole Pools. Enjoy great views over the national park while you are having lunch (provided) as well as the chance to take an invigorating dip in the enchanting cascading pools. Getting there has never been easier on one of our state of the art FOCUS Electric Mountain Bikes. Be amazed at how easy it is to cycle up hills, though you still have to put in some effort, so will feel like you have had some exercise at the end of the day. Experience some of the beautiful hinterland surrounding Byron Bay and immerse yourself in rainforest in Mount Jerusalem National Park. Rediscover the joy of cycling in nature, the fun, freedom, fresh air. Beware, once you try an E bike you will want to buy one (and we can help you with that too!). All the fun of a cycling adventure without the strain. You will be in a small group, maximum 8 people, with an experienced local guide.

Discover the winding paths of the stunning Broken Head Nature Reserve to the Three Sisters Lookout, with miles of pristine coastline and a forest walk that leaves you on, arguably, Byron's most stunning and secluded beach.

You'll be wishing all experiences are this much fun! From the luxury vintage school bus with onboard bar, to the breathtaking views and delicious onboard tasting platters, you'll thoroughly enjoy every moment of this tour. Your day will begin when your served your first cold beverage when you climb aboard the Salty Pineapple. Your host/driver for the day will then safely lead you on a journey through the breath-taking Byron Hinterland. During this time you'll receive a delicious local produce tasting platter & refreshments from the onboard bar. Then onto our first venue for a delicious pub lunch and a drink of your choice and some classic pub stories. From here it's a quick ride to the outskirts of town to the quirkiest brewery around for a tasting paddle of four of their finest craft beers. The final road will lead us back into Byron to experience a Tour and tasting at a distillery that has the highest quality liquor in the land

You do have the option of purchasing extra drinks at venues, though our inclusions should be suffice., Whilst aboard the Salty Pineapple and at a convenient time during the scenic cruise, we'll stop to sample some of the heavenly divine and fresh local produce made right here in the northern rivers.

We choose the best locations for the day depending on wind, tides and swells. We will coach up to an advanced level and are licensed to use hardboards. The session is personalised to your needs and level, so you are encouraged to define what you want to get out of the session. Sessions are progressive in nature so you keep improving. Ocean awareness and safety are included.

Exclusions:

Take a 2 hour rainforest eco cruise along the Brunswick River in Cape Byron Marine Park for a chance to view birds, fish, and other native wildlife and marine life in their natural environment. Listen to commentary from a river guide, and enjoy provided coffee, tea, and snacks on board for a relaxing and pleasant experience.
