Jungle Jim's International Market

One of the largest farmers markets anywhere, covering more than 4 acres, virtually any type of food item is available.

Reviewed By eatshoptravel

Jungle Jim's International Market is Fairfield's claim to fame and most popular tourist attraction, and has been featured on TV. It all began in 1971 with a small road-side produce stand. In 1974 "Jungle" Jim Bonaminio purchased the current property and has kept growing and adding on since. The international part comes from stocking food and drink from around the world. Different ethnicities have long frequented Jungle Jim's because they could get foods and ingredients from their, or their ancestor's, country of origin. The international market is laid out by country; Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Thailand, China, Mexico, etc. There is a seafood department, a soda department with flavors both usual and unusual, a meat department (alligator and ostrich are available), a cheese department with brands from across the US and world, a deli with an olive bar, sushi, large selections of hot sauce and honey, a bakery, a variety of adult beverages, including a beer cave, a cigar bar, regular groceries, a large singing Elvis bear in the candy department, and of course, produce. Their restrooms are award-winning. In the spring, flowers and plants are sold. Prior to COVID-19, there were cooking classes, tours and a small theater in which to watch a movie about the Jungle Jim's story, but I don't know how those have been affected by the pandemic. Part of Jungle Jim's expansion was to add an events center, as well as other businesses on the property. A second location was opened in the Eastgate section of greater Cincinnati in 2012.

We took a ravioli class for a date night. Our instructor, Chef Jimmy, was engaging and did a great job ensuring everyone was able to complete the cook, even if they weren't innately comfortable preparing the dish. Their staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. One of the best perks is that everyone was cooking at their own station, it wasn't grouped by table, so everyone got to take part in all steps of the process. Highly recommend for beginners, but also a lot of fun if you already know your way around the kitchen

A really nice and large antique mall with friendly people and plenty to see. Coming in to the left are dozens of showcases and then row after row of hidden treasures. Plenty of parking and easy exit to highway. This is one of the better ones across the country.

Holiday Auto Theatre

Reviewed By fredw587

This place is great, they play two first-run movies for a very good price. the retro style is everywhere from the signage, to the preview clips, to the friendly service. (Although I remember the old days of hanging the speakers from your windows... This place has a radio frequency that you tune in to hear the show) The concession stand is actually fairly good too, with classic ice cream truck style goodies, popcorn, nachos, pretzels, etc. They even have pizza, burgers, and chicken strips and French fries. The popcorn is movietheater delicious, and cheaper than your typical theater too! Come early though, the place fills up fast and well before showtime. It is a great classic family night out, well worth the price of admission.

We’ve been to the Cobb Liberty Luxury 15 & CineBistro twice in November and have thoroughly enjoyed the dining and movie experience. The movie seats are extremely comfortable – and the food has been excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, we highly recommend the CineBistro!
