Very helpful. The lady assisting us knew the local attractions very well and able to assist us with up to date advice. As very busy in the region, due to school hols, we were recommended to book. The bookings and payments were made for us quickly. Very friendly advice and all our questions answered. We also purchased a few souvenirs, reasonably priced, a few gifts for friends too. Plenty of brochures available and a large informative map of the region, all free.

Castle Rock

Reviewed By mjail5

From the same parking area at Meelup Beach is where the trail to Castle Rock is. Just a short pleasant 700m walk brings you to Castle Rock where my sons had a fun time scrambling on the rocks. If you go further past this point, you will be met with the view of the bluest water of the ocean. As you make your way back, on the left up the hill is the Whale Lookout. Just a short 300m walk where we finally saw whales at the midway point. So glad as we did not see any whales earlier on the Whale Lookout Trail at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse.

Only 13 kilometres from Dunsborough, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, historic Tea Rooms and Maritime Museum reveal the fascinating maritime history of the Cape region.

We went on a guided tour of the lighthouse , we had a great guide for the 45 min tour to the top which was very informative and delivered great views . An easy climb as the lighthouse is short, loads of interesting stories from its history and views towards sugarloaf rock.

We were lucky enough to be able to come for lunch on the Thursday before a long weekend so the crowds were not a problem. We had a totally delicious lunch of the salmon special with the fattoush salad and some great beer. The staff were delightful and the view is awesome. You should definitely book if you want a good table, plus it makes life easier for the kitchen. We have been here several times before but not for a year or so - everything was just as great.
