Busan is Korea's second largest city. Tourists often come to this region to hike and to visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting the Dongbaek Island, or bird watch at the Nakdong river estuary.

I've always heard about Gamcheon Cultural Village and this was my first time visit Huinnyeoul Culture Village! It's so peaceful and quiet. Very little tourists and plenty of picturesque cafes with the perfect seaview!! Watch a video of this attraction on my Instagram @xuantravelogue

My friend and I were on our way back to have grilled eels from the cliffside temple but I mistakenly drop at the wrong station and we were at Songjeong Beach by then. As the restaurant is halfway across the beach, so we just walked along the beach before finding an abandoned rail track. This trail was the hidden gem as we could walk along the track while having the sea on our left. After some time we found the skywalk and it was perfect. Aided by the sun shine, view of the sea was nice added by the mild winter wind with the crashing waves beneath us. I would spend around 10-15 minutes at most just to look around and enjoy the view. So if you were to go here, better get lost at Songjeong beach and let the journey do its magical work!

Wonderful Oceanfront Forest hike with sections of boardwalk, trails & stream crossing due to diversion as a part of the trail was closed due to work going on. Beautiful views of the forest , cliffs & sea. Although the tourist center said it will take 2& half hours, I was in a bit of a hurry & completed in 1:30 hrs including stops to take in the sights, photos & rest breaks. Moderate climb & technical stretches - get some good shoes, hiking clothes & couple of bottles of water. The views are to good & a quick getaway from the city.
