My family and I really enjoyed this little pit stop. Snake Alley is really cool and fun to check out. If you drive around the town at the top of the hill you'll be impressed by all the beautiful old homes as well. The little Main Street and all the shops are pretty cool too.

This is a small "park" that overlooks the Mississippi River on the Burlington bluff. (No playground equipment) It is well manicured and offers some seating, a viewing scope and a picnic area. It is amazing how many people visit this park each day. It is definitely a "must see" spot in Burlington. Watch the barges, boats and an occasional paddle wheel boat go by or look out Eagles soaring around at times.

Fun day at the water park with grandparents, siblings, and nieces/nephews. Lots of water activities for our family, and enough to be crowded but not waiting in long lines. Good/inexpensive drinks, and friendly staff. Including, go carts, bowling, arcade, laser tag. Having a great time.

Excellent golf course, one of the best I've played in Iowa. The layout of this course is scenic, in great condition and numerous elevations with many downhill. The price was very reasonable with discounts offered for Seniors. The practice area was awesome. The only downside was food at the turn was too slow. Don't order the 3 cheese brisket to take on the course. It is very tasty but too messy for golfing.

We were on a family tour of some Midwest low A ballparks and this was our first and favorite stop. The park is incredibly clean and well maintained. The food and drink are affordable. Parking is free - right in front of the park - it couldn't be better. Nice people in a beautiful town on the Mississippi River. It was one hot day when we visited but they have some very clever sun shaded areas to cool off near the concessions. Burlington baseball has a very long history going back to the 1880's.

This 700 seat 1937 art deco movie theater has been restored to all its glory from the matinee lights around the marquee to the neon side lights, velour seats and velvet curtains. There is a bar area down the lobby hallway and restrooms, while the actual lobby boasts a small glass candy bar cabinet, a popcorn machine, and sodas. They only show movies on Saturdays but this venue is also used for booking traveling talent such as singers, bands, and comedians. Definite nostalgia!

I live about an hour from this Cemetary. This place is huge, very old and very hilly. It is incredibly beautiful all year long. There are a lot of deer to be seen especially at dusk with their fawns. I am always happy I went for a walk here. There are many winding paths. You will truly feel that you are in the country. Very peaceful. Sadly no dogs allowed. Closes at five so don't get your car stuck in there when they close the gate. Park outside of it and walk in during off hours.
This is the largest cemetary in Iowa.

Went to see a show here for the first time. Very good seating. Somewhat on the small side as far as clubs go. The place was very clean. The bartenders very friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. The only bad side is that if you are from out of town you have to contact a record shop for tickets. Then there may be confusion at the door as was out experience. But go, you'll enjoy the venue.

Very nice quiet place for sharing wine or craft beer as well as having quiet conversation. Nice music in the background. Owner was very helpful in selecting wine. Also available is bread, various cheeses and olive oil for dipping. We're looking forward to the special event Wine and pairings in another week. Live music is offered on weekends also.
