This place is amazing and well worth the intrigue of hunting out the red door! We went around 1830 on a Friday and Saturday which was perfect timing for great service and a seat in this cosy bar. Amazing cocktails and I recommend a "Southside" to which was made to perfection! This place is a must!

This market held on the first and third Sunday of every month really is great. There’s about 100 stalls selling a wide variety of items such as clothing, candles, jewellery, sunglasses etc. Many of the stalls are from local designers. If shopping isn’t your thing then grab some food from one of the vendors and sit and listen to local musicians perform.

Myself and my friend booked in a walking tour at the centre - We listened to some beautiful Dreamtime stories associated with the creation of Jellurgal, and even other parts of QLD & NSW, that we should of learnt a long time ago. My favourite stories were about the creation of Jellurgal (Burleigh Headland) and the creation of Wollumbin (Mount Warning) - thank you so much for sharing these stories, that I can now share with others :)

Burleigh Head National Park

Reviewed By 333Sally333 - Burleigh Heads, Australia

The national park at Burleigh Heads is a treasure...it over looks the the ocean and puts you in touch with wildlife and nature. There are 2 main walking tracks - the lower track is easy and only takes about 15 mins to reach the other end, which is the Tallebudgera creek bridge, which you can then go for a swim in the creek. The upper track is a bit more challenging and hilly but worth it for the views at the top. It also ends at the same place as the lower track. You can walk one way on the lower track and come back on the upper so you cover both tracks. There are lots of vantage points along the way to watch the surfers catch waves or watch boats go across the breakers into the creek. Many bush turkeys make their homes in the park as well as many lizards and i have also spotted an echidna - so amazing. Its a nice stroll up from the village of Burleigh. Many people use it as their running route.

A family member was married here last Saturday (thankfully after the rain earlier in the week had cleared) The grass was lovely and green, and the backdrop of the grass, rocks and ocean was perfect. A lovely park used by so many people at all hours every day, and the sunsets here are magical, with views to Surfers Paradise.

Justins Park

This park is always being maintained, so it's usually in very good condition, although if they plant a tougher grass there, the council wouldn't have to keep replacing it. Ideal spot for picnics and BBQ's or just for hanging out.
