Cycling the Algarve coast, we passed through Burgau and took a detour to the beach leaving me to think: why aren't we hanging out here? The old town that leads to the beach oozes old-world charm. The beach has a private feel as it is backdropped by the town and bookended by cliffs. The white sand is inviting and the waters pretty calm.
