This temple is located at a village about 11 km east of Singaraja town. My guide tells me that this village was famous for its struggle of independence against the Dutch colonialism . It took us about 25 mints to reach the place. Just like other temples in this region, there were hardly any visitors around, so we had the temple for ourself. The entrance fee was IDR 15,000 excluding the tips for the caretaker. This caretaker who has been mentioned previously in TripAdvisor, approached us and insist on showing us around. He claimed that his anchestors were involved in the war with Dutch. He was very polite and possessed detailed knowledge of the temple. Along the way he explain the history of the temple, the struggle with the Dutch and the meaning of the sculptures. We spent about 1 hour here to see around the place and get pictures of the place. It is a must visit if you are in the vicinity of Lovina or Singaraja. As usual bring along a bottle of water, sun block and a hat. Camera is a must.

Its the entrance gate to Golf resort ,but set with a beautiful backdrop of blue hills ,the traditional Balinese gates looks wowseome and good for taking poses for your album.If u have taken the Ulan Danu trip, you should not miss this place as it is just in the road side.
