What to do and see in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District: The Best Bus Transportation

August 15, 2021 Nicolette Lion

The birthplace of the tango is, like the dance itself, captivating, seductive and bustling with excited energy. Atmospheric old neighborhoods are rife with romantic restaurants and thumping nightlife, and Buenos Aires' European heritage is evident in its architecture, boulevards and parks. Cafe Tortoni, the city's oldest bar, will transport you back to 1858, and the spectacular Teatro Colon impresses just as it did in 1908. Latin America's shopping capital offers the promise of premium retail therapy along its grand, wide boulevards.

This is an excellent service. The shuttle runs between the two airports of Buenos Aires and the city centre at 30 minute intervals. The fare from Ezeiza to the city terminal is 8USD as of February 2020. Buses are full size coaches, modern, clean and comfortable. There is a ticket booth in the arrivals hall at Ezeiza and they accept credit cards. As you leave the terminal the bus stand is a 2 or 3 minute walk straight ahead and on the left. Return tickets can be purchased at the city terminal.
