A store jam packed with everything from sports wear to hunting gear, guns, canoes, coolers, candy, tents etc. Staff is friendly and though always crowded you can get around easily. Good bathrooms and parking too.

Went here for a movie, although they also have bowling and an arcade. It was a pleasant experience. Clean place. Comfortable seats. Good sound system. Lots of choices for movie watching. Enjoyable time.

We were exploring Buda on an overcast day, and discovered this nice little park along Onion Creek just west of I35. There are nearly 2 miles of easy walking paths on the property. For some reason, there are a lot of parking spaces. I guess the usage is heavy on weekends or special events.
The Buda Visitor's Center is at the very front of the park in the McElroy-Severn House which was the "Onion Creek Post Office and Stagecoach House from 1875 - 1880.
The park has a small children's playground area, picnic tables, a small aerated pond along the walking trail, a pavilion for rent for private events, an amphitheater, as well as restrooms, water, and electricity.
The walking trails are mostly flat, with some having a slight elevation. Wear a hat and sunscreen on a sunny day since the mostly Mesquite trees don't offer much shade on the trails. I recommend comfortable walking shoes, but hiking shoes/boots are not necessary. There is water at some scattered locations, but I had a water bottle as well.
Enjoy.

Great Texas stop off. Id say the owner Doug is about the quintessential Texas cowboy. The art sculpture were amazing and there are a few hundred to choose from. I bought a carved out cowboy sculpture for a few hundred bucks. Its a one of a kind piece that will last forever inside or out. While you are down that way try the mexican food place on the corner.

There are a lot of games from old ones to modern ones. It also have laser tag. My son had a blast. Close to IH 35. I think that the prices are good for each game. Would recommend it and I will return.

My partner and I enjoy Moon Tower but hate the crowded space. Willie's Joint offers everything Moon Tower does except volleyball. Live music, yard games, ping pong, juke box, washers, and more can be found here. They also serve there own BBQ which we heard people eating it rave about but we had just came from dinner and were already full. I highly recommend this place for friends and family wanting a night out without the Moon Tower crowd.

Local craft brewery serving draft beer in our casual tap room. Family and pet friendly. Patio seating also available.
Recent visit to Two Wheel on a Friday evening proved relaxing and enjoyable. I had the Budaful Blonde Ale which was very good and my husband had the Twin Creeks Pale Ale which he said was outstanding. A great place to kick back and have a beer while sitting at one of the picnic tables out back.

Located in the old Buda bank (a small-town Texas bank), this is a fun little get-away right on the main drag through Buda. The humidor is the old bank vault. Beer and wine are available and they have done a great job of selecting libations they go well with a good smoke. The outdoor seating area is not large (ten people or so), but it is very pleasant. Come expecting a bog "Howdy!" from all the patrons when you walk in, and feel free to chat with some of the other folks and I am pretty sure you will never be disappointed in the quality and entertainment value of the conversation. They have televisions for sporting events. Not a large venue, so don't plan on bringing a crowd here.

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas, is dedicated to inspiring the conservation of native plants. Located a quick but quiet ten miles from downtown, we are a botanical garden open to the public year-round and have become a favored venue for everything from conservation-focused conventions to beautiful weddings. We carry out our mission to inspire the conservation and application of native plants through our gardens, campus, research, education and outreach programs. In doing so, we improve water quality, provide habitat for wildlife and enhance human health and happiness. Visit, learn and make a better world with us. The Wildflower Center was founded by Lady Bird Johnson and Helen Hayes in 1982 and became a part of The University of Texas at Austin in 2006.
The center was in full bloom when we visited, during the first week of April. Bluebonnets, pink evening primroses, antelope horns and other blooms are displayed in both fixed, planted beds and in open forest and field habitats via trails that are accessible for both wheelchairs and strollers. It's big, but not huge. You can see the basics in about 90 minutes or so. Other flowers listed in the brochure bloom in summer.
