South Tyrolean open-air museum. The outdoor area with the old farmhouses and workshops reflects the everyday life of the peasant population. The Mair am Hof residence shows the stately rooms of the landed gentry and the ethnographic collections.

This resort area in the Italian Dolomites is not only a haven for downhill skiers and snowboarders, but is also a delightful summer resort from May through October for hikers, climbers and nature-lovers.
One of the best ski resorts (maybe evem the best) I have visited. The slopes are perfectly maintaned. Mamy beautiful restaurants to enjoy lunch. Stunning views and amazing skiing. Very modern cable cars with wifi is an extra.

In case of bad weather when it is snowing, it is worth visiting the old town. The houses are interesting, visit the museum of prosciutto and a number of shops and try bombardino. Particularly worth seeing is a small shop with choice of shopping

Man’s fascination with mountains has been unbroken as long as anyone can remember. LUMEN gives this fascination a photographic home: located at the summit of the region Kronplatz (in South Tyrol), 1,800 square metres are dedicated to mountain photography. Spanning four floors LUMEN offers the possibility to experience the history of mountain photography from its beginnings until the present as well as displaying the art of mountain-photographers from all over the world. A scientific approach and entertainment are not contradictions — LUMEN shows historic pictures and digital innovations, exciting temporary and special exhibitions as well as spectacular productions. The curated program stands out due to its interdisciplinary character: alpinism, tourism, politics, spirituality and history — the subject mountains is examined from different perspectives.

MMM is a great place for mountain lovers. This museum is dedicated to mountain inhabitants customs and traditions. There are 3 floors dedicated to the different continents, in my opinion (personal preference) the best parts are the ones dedicated to Asia (Nepal, India...). The location is great, inside Bruneck castle, you could also "climb" to the top where you can get a great view. There is a beatiful shop with some old Messner books hardly findable elsewhere. Price is 10 euro, a bit expensive but the visit is recommended.
