The aim is for Teams of 3-5 people to get out from a locked room in one hour, solving puzzles, using common sense and teamwork. WWII theme where the team is stationed at RAF Biggin Hill Operations Room. They have been captured by the enemy and locked in a room. They need to decipher the code to escape the room and stop the enemy from landing their planes.
We have visited once before and decided to return for the Christmas Themed escape room. My daughter and 5 of her friends- maximum in a room was 6. They were all aged 13 and I was advised that a paying adult had to be present in the room with them at all times and a surcharge of £10 to be paid. This I paid the first time and I was in the room - I would say the escape room they choose was a little too hard for them but someone was always on hand to give a clue! We were also given the option to upgrade to a 'party' for £30 and a member of the team would be in the room and this would also include drinks, party bag and a medal. As it was Christmas we upgraded and this made it all the more fun for the girls. The staff were great- greeted us in their costumes and were very good with the girls. The girls had a great time and 'escaped' on time and they loved the chance to dress up at the end for a picture. From all the way to booking to arriving the process was really easy- I emailed to ask a query and my email was responded to speedily, Great place - our only negative is that my daughter would like a birthday party here but maximum 6 guests, I understand as the rooms are small and any more would spoil the experience - credit to them for not trying to fit in more people. We will look again to see if there is a different theme as they would go back. One last thing make sure you bring the directions on how to get in as a little out of the way.

With its unique place in the history of science and evolution, Down House, the family home of world-renowned scientist Charles Darwin, is a must-see. Stand in the study where Darwin wrote 'On the Origin of Species', stroll through the gardens that inspired him, and discover his and wife Emma's newly recreated bedroom which overlooks the gardens. Let Sir David Attenborough take you on an interactive multimedia tour around the house, and discover how the great man developed his ground-breaking theories. Whilst soaking in the knowledge why not visit Emmas Kitchen for a cream tea or delicious light lunch, some of which are inspired by Emma Darwins recipe book itself. Then take a stroll around the beautiful country gardens, making sure you enjoy a lap of Darwins 'thinking path', the sandwalk, which Darwin himself would walk 3 time a day. This stunning hidden gem is not one to be missed. Come and explore today.
Down House in the village of Downe in Kent is the former home of Charles Darwin. The property and grounds are now managed by English Heritage with rooms either recreated as they were when Darwin lived there, or housing a broad range of exhibits on Darwin's life and voyage aboard the Beagle. Outside you can visit the kitchen garden, or picnic area. There is a cafe on site serving sandwiches, cakes, and drinks, as well as a gift shop. Parking for circa thirty cars is available free of charge. Entry was circa £15 for adults when we visited in Autumn 2020, but free for English Heritage members. Well worth a visit !

This huge park has everything. Lots of grass areas for a picnic, lovely lake and a nice playground. The day we visited several squirrels zoomed around - much to the delight of some small children. Amazing to find such a big park in a build up area like Bromley
