A unique Capability Brown Folly Tower open to visitors wanting to experience great English heritage in an inspiring location. Graphic displays on three floors, roof viewing platform and Tower Shop are a must for Cotswold visits. Broadway Tower is one of England's outstanding viewpoints and at 1024 feet (312m) above sea level, it is the second highest point on the Cotswold escarpment. Unrivalled views survey an expanse of a 62 mile radius and as many as 16 Counties. Conveniently located on the Cotswold Way, Broadway Tower is the perfect place to start your walk, be it a short circuit or hike. There is ample car parking for patrons of Broadway Tower and refreshments await to reward the completed walk.
What a beautiful place to visit on a lovely summer's day! We had to queue to get into the tower, but not for too long and visitor safety is obviously paramount at the moment which is reassuring. A flight of twisty stone steps takes you to three separate floors with displays and information about the history of the tower, the connection to William Morris and World War Two. And then you reach the top where the views over the surrounding countryside are spectacular! It's such a beautiful part of the world. Then we wound our down again and enjoyed our picnic, plenty of places to pitch your own chairs plus lots of picnic benches too. Then we enjoyed the circular walk from the car park back to the tower, very scenic. Had a cup of tea and a piece of lemon drizzle cake from the cafe in the sunshine. Just perfect! Bear in mind the toilets are closed so if you need to powder your nose you will have to grin and bear the portaloo! A thoroughly enjoyable day spent here.

The museum celebrates the life and work of renowned furniture designer Sir Gordon Russell and his company. Schooled in the Arts and Crafts tradition of the Cotswolds, Gordon Russell believed that the hand crafted tradition of British cabinet making could be fused with the possibilities of the machine, making good design accessible to all. From the workshops in the village of Broadway, which now houses the museum, the company gained an international reputation and had a profound influence on British industry, design and education. The displays cover a rich period of 20th century design, from Arts and Crafts to Modernism and beyond, accompanied by a changing programme of exhibitions and events. The museum shop brings the story up to the present day, showcasing the work of contemporary designer-makers. Pre-booked tickets only: please book a 1 hour time slot via our website. Your slot admits up to 6 people per booking, with admission payable on arrival. Thank you.

Great play park, biggest I’ve seen. The girls loved it. Loads of space to run around in. Food for picnics - relies mostly on grass as few benches.

The short walk from Broadway village centre to this gem of a church is well worth it to find such a perfect balance of serenity and calm.

Lovely little museum with a fabulous new exhibition of art & fashion right on the High St of this glorious Cotswold village. Interesting room describing the colony of American artists and writers who settled in Broadway. Beautiful historic building with oak panelling, impressive fireplaces and delightful views. Bijou museum shop and very friendly staff. Such good value at only £5. Lots of Covid measures in place (plus temperature checks) so felt very safe visiting. No need to book.
